Today Oroqen ethnic minority in China is one of the few ethnic minority still existing in the world which depended on hunting for thousands of years. The study about Oroqen people has scholarly value and practical significance. During the long history, the unique culture and lifestyle of Oroqen ethnic minority have engendered their proper characteristics. However, as the traditional culture of Oroqen ethnic minority is disappearing rapidly, these characteristics are also changingand may die out one day. It is just the purpose and value of this study to research the games which play an important part in engendering the excellent characteristics of Oroqen ethnic minority from the pedagogical visual angle, so as to salvage and preserve them efficaciously.As an important way to cultivate their offspring, the games contain the soul of Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional culture and unique educative functions. This thesis analyzes the effects on the forming of various intelligence, mentality, and morality of Oroqen ethnic minority with literatures method, theoretics analyzing method, and field survey method of anthropology from a visual angle of pedagogical anthropology, which is based on coordinating and analyzing the origin, formation, main content, and characters of Oroqen ethnic minority and is in terms of theory of Multiple Intelligence and the theories of psychology and pedagogy about the relation between plays and the development of children. Furthermore, the author demonstrate the relationship between the vicissitude of natural environment, institutional environment, cultural environment and the plight of the inheritance of plays by investigating the current situation of the inheritance of the Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional games and analyzing the results . Finally the author deeply analyzes and discusses the value of inheritance and the way of development of Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional plays from the visual angles of the history, the reality and the future separately.The thesis contains: The exordium: explaining the context of selecting the subject, the purpose of this study, the theoretical frame, the main methods of the study, the related trend of the study, and the theoretical value and practical significance of this study briefly.Chapter One, theories about games. Introducing the theories about plays of pedagogy, psychology and anthropology etc. briefly, which are guidable to this study.Chapter Two, general introduction of Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional games. Analyzing and introducing the origins, evolvements, main contents and characteristics of the Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional plays, which are based on the general introduction of the formation , historical development and traditional culture of Oroqen ethnic minority.Chapter Three, analysis of the social and cultural function of the traditional games. Discussing the effect of the plays on inheriting the knowledge of product and life, morality and customs, on improving entertainment and intercommunion, on engendering ethical characteristics, and on enhancing the ethical cohesion, etc.Chapter Four, analysis of the educational function of Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional plays. Analyzing and discussing thoroughly the effect of the plays on the traditional education of Oroqen ethnic minority and on the development of Oroqen children's intellective and other factors from the pedagogical visual angle of pedagogical anthropology.Chapter Five, field investigations about the current situation of the inheritance of Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional plays. Introducing the field investigation which the author made to survey the current situation of the inheritance of Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional plays in Oroqen Borough of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region with some pedagogic investigative methods such as questionnaire and interview. At the same time analyzing and explaining the information and data gained in the investigation. Chapter Six, analysis of the inheritance institution and plight of Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional plays. Explaining the institutions and circumstances by which Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional games can still exist today in terms of cultural ecology, and exploring deeply the current plight of the inheritance of plays from three aspects which are natural environment, institutional environment and cultural environment.Chapter Seven, think about the inheritance of Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional plays. Thinking about how to inherit and develop Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional plays from the visual angles of the history, the reality and the future. Pointing out that Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional plays have special value on protecting nonmaterial cultural heritage, enriching the cultural variety of human beings, promoting the development of current children's body and mind, keep individuation and creativity of human beings. Proposing that Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional plays should take a open stance towards the future and the world, so that they can not only serve the development of the Oroqen ethnic minority both in the past and today, but also should serve the Chinese Nation and all the human beings. In addition, putting forward my own perspectives and trains of thoughts about many issues, such as how to dig, protect, and inherit Oroqen ethnic minority's traditional plays, and how to modernize them, etc.
