On The Development Of The New-generation Migrant Rural Workers-An Economic Perspective

The Migrant rural worker, a special gargantuan group emerged with the process of China's industrialization, urbanization and modernization since the reform and opening to the outside world of China, is an important driving force of China's economic development and social progress. With the passage of time and social development, the inter-generational alternation of migrant rural workers has manifested itself. A new-generation migrant rural workers with a keener yearning for development than their predecessors is increasing in number with each passing day, and gradually changing the formation of the team of migrant rural workers, which makes them a decisive force in the migrant rural workersBasing on Marxist dialectical materialism and historical materialism and aiming at solving the problems concerning economic and social development, agriculture, countryside and farmers, this dissertation takes the new-generation migrant rural worker as the main research object, focuses on the internal and external factors influencing its development, reviews the origin and development of migrant rural workers, introduces the basic situation of the new-generation migrant rural workers, defines the new generation migrant rural workers scientifically, describes the basic features and the objective situation of their development, analyses the beneficial conditions and restrict factors of their development thoroughly, and explores the issues on their development. The dissertation emphasizes that the economic development situation centering on industrialization and urbanization is the basis of the development of the new-generation migrant rural worker, that the improvement of people's cultural quality and skill quality is the core of the development, and that system innovation is the key to the development, therefore, the process of industrialization and urbanization shall be accelerated to guarantee a quick and sustainable development of national economy, national financial resources, especially the urban financial actual strength, shall be greatly increase to provide a solid material foundation necessary for solving problems concerning the development of new-generation migrant rural workers and the nine-year compulsory education shall be really implemented to improve the pertinence and efficiency of the occupation skill training to enable the new-generation migrant rural workers to transform to industrial workers, integrate into the city and to have a brighter future. In order to transform the development mode of China, to upgrade the industrial structure of our country, and to provide human resources support for the transformation from "made in China" to "created in China", we shall continue to make breakthroughs in the innovation of household registration management system, social security system and employment system and allow market forces to regulate the flow and configuration of labor force, creating a good system environment for the development of new-generation migrant rural workers.
