Modern Economic Theory And Development Of China's Service Industry

On today's earth, the service trade has already become the widest range industry, It no longer only confines to traditional catering trade, the repairing industry, retail business, etc.. According to the statistics and classification chart from WTO that the information system office made, it includes more than 150 each of 11 big classes. In this wide field of service trade, quite a few of concern the national economy and the people's livelihood, For example, the financial services industry concerns the lifelines of the national economy; the service trade of telecommunications not only concern national security and people's life but also become the important weapon of global competition of future more and more. Seen from present development trend of world, service trades may become the first largest industry in the world and lasting motive force for developing the economy of every country in the world constantly. However, in our country, constrained by the thought of planned economy for a long time, it has formed the traditional idea of heavy goods, light service. This has not merely led to the fact that the Chinese service trade develops slowly, and in the economic theoretical research, seldom has involved the question of service economy. And the lagging of the theoretical research, must influence the development of the Chinese service trade again, thus cause the vicious circle. So, based on consulting a large amount of theoretical documents, especially on the foundation of the document of economic theory of western service, combining the teaching experience of service trade and research work, guided under Marxism, drawing experience from the western service economic theory, regard whole service trade as the research object, proceeding from basic category of serving and service trade, I have carried on systematic research to the basic theoretical question of service economy; and combining the China's actual conditions , applying theory to reality, I have probed further into the relevant questions of development of Chinese service trade. The achievement in research of this text has certain theoretic and practical meanings to confirm the position of service trade in the industrial structure of our country on theory, improve the people's understanding to the importance of service trade, especially for the governments at all levels and department concerned making developing strategy and policies of China and local service trade. Say on the whole, the article can be divided into upper and lower two parts, named the theoretical part and practical part. Among them, the first five chapters form upper part, the last three chapters form lower part. On the content system, it can be summarized as five parts: (1) Foreword, that is chapter one. To study the theory of serve economy, need to carry on the essential exposition and define to the basic conception of some relevant themes. Such as: What are service, service trade, and service economy? What similarities and differences do they have with the concepts of labor service and the tertiary industry, etc These concepts form the starting point of this text for analyzing and researching the question, and also supporting some views of this text. On the basis of this, goal, content, method of studying have been confirmed, and so has proposed the logic frame structure of studying in this text in view of the above. (2)Probing into the theories of the service and service trade, named chapter two. The theoretical research of this text begins from a most general concept --the discussion of service. As to what are service, from Marx to western economist, and even the economic domain of China, there are various different explanations. The total one say, the economic educational circle is a constantly deep course to the understanding of service, and it directly relates to the position and function of service trade in different periods.
