In Contemporary China, to develop agricultural modernization is the only possible way to solve the problem of agriculture, farmers and rural development. Agricultural modernization is the basic requirement of the historical task of Chinese Communist Party in the primary phase of socialism and the milestone of a new development of Chinese agriculture under the background of economic globalization. China is a developing country which transformed from a traditional agriculture-oriented country into a modern socialism country, and the agricultural modernization veritably decided the process of the modernization of China. The path for agricultural modernization in China should follow the rules of worldwide modernization process and has the distinctive features of itself at the same time, and should share the same objectives with the construction of Chinese characterized socialism and the future development of Chinese economy and society and become one part of the Harmonious Society construction.
