Comprehensive Innovative Learning Mechanism Based On The Modular Enterprise

Since the economic globalization of 1990's, enterprises enter the pattern of innovation competition in the global market. Total innovation has been the main approach for enterprises to gain the advantages of competition. According to the theory of historical evolvement of market and innovation competition of enterprises, this thesis summarizes the relative pattern of innovative learning, and discusses about the background of research from the present development of market, demand and technology. From the historical view, it is pointed out the imperative trend of development for enterprises to gain the competitive advantages through total innovation at present. However, the basis of total innovation is the institution, talent, knowledge, innovation competence and innovation speed, the final basis is the innovative learning to obtain the dynamic innovation competence. But, through the analysis of the history and status quo of Chinese local enterprises, it indicates that they face four problems, namely problems of strategic inertia, troubles of innovative learning, chaos of knowledge management and predominant competition of foreign enterprises during the formation of their innovation competence. It makes Chinese enterprises not be enable to form the effective the approaches of innovative learning, to obtain high value-added knowledge, and to improve the innovation competence; if results in increasingly weak competitive competence of Chinese local enterprises from long period. Moreover, it is impossible for the existing theories to supply the essential theoretic supports to solve these problems. In order to turn this situation, it is urgent to research on the learning mechanism of innovation (LMI) to offer the theoretic supports and practice instructions.After nail down the research background and theme, and through the analysis of the relative theories on total innovation management, innovation competence, knowledge management, innovative learning and modularization, the following four concrete research questions is further ascertained, and to be performed theoretic and experimental researches that enclose the theme LMI of this thesis: (1) Modularization architecture model of total innovation system; (2) Modularization architecture model of knowledge & knowledge management; (3) The critical factors of LMI and the correlation among these factors; (4) The main pattern of improving innovation competence with LMI. The main research process is arranged as followings.(1) After the retrospection and analysis of modularization theory, firstly, it is pointed out that there exists the trend of dividing the work by modularity among the inter-organization and intra-organization. Secondary, the theory of modularizationsupplies the powerful tool of systematic research for analyzing the complex products, and greatly reduces the complexity and cost of research objects. Thirdly, the theory of modularization is widely applied in the management researches of the organization of industries and enterprises, marketing and services. Based on the above analysis, the three main factors - architecture, module and element are abstracted, and applied in the architectural dimension research of relative model. The research methods of modularization theory are carried out through the whole process of this research.(2) Based on the current theory of TIM, and combined with three factors of modularization as architectural dimension, the modularization architecture model of total innovation management (MAMoTIM) is established. Now enterprises have the first one of practicable approaches of TIM implementation in the actual innovation management, and the orientation of TIM theory begins to be properly solved.
