This treatise is about the geographic productivity distribution and the exploiting strategies of Yangtze-side and Yellow sea-side area of Jiangsu province. The author discusses the relationship of the globalization and the economic growth, the geographic productivity distribution theory, the productivity distribution theory under the globalization tendency, the Chinese position of the international distribution, and the location advantage of Jiangsu Province.In Chapter One, we try to define the development process of the economic development from the point of view of history development and the economic development. We argue that the globalization tendency could be divide into four periods. We describe the characteristics of such four periods. At the same time, we analyze the impact of the globalization on the economic growth. In addition, we discuss the influence of the economic development on the productivity geographic distribution. At last, we discuss the evolution process of the economic geographic patterns from the beginning of China's Reform and Opening policy.In Chapter Two, we analyze the firm's location decision from the point of view of microeconomic agent. We discuss the location motive from the angle of resource field, processing field and market field. At the same time, we point out that the metropolitan cycle holds the important position in a country's economy. Furthermore, we compare the Yangtze delta and the Zhujiang delta. Finally, we discuss the core-periphery theory, and we explore the development status of the world economic core from the 1900s. We argue that the world economic core is now shifting to China.In Chapter Three, we discuss the relationship between the transportation cost and the trade. We upgrade the Weber's transportation model, and give out the solution of the best location choice. At the same time, we analyze the economic geographic effect among the international trade. Furthermore, we discuss the relationship between the transportation density and the productivity geographic distribution.
