Professional degree is in the same level and different type as academic degree, there is clear difference in training aim. Professional degree is guided by professional practice, and emphasizes practice and application, and mainly trains practical talents for special professional work.The earliest professional degree graduate education began with Harvard University in 1908, The appearance of professional degree graduate education has deep social and culture origins. First, the second industry revolution made American economy developed quickly in the 19 century, with science and technology widely used in production and life, the need for professional talents was high level, the government and the industrial sector and others urgently needed high level professional talents.Second, With the arise of pragmatism in middle and later periods of the 19 century, the function of university serving society was firstly established in American high education, university was closely correlated to society. Third, with the movement of specialization and the process of industrialization at the end of 19 century, high level professional talents were needed in labor market.Since the first MBA degree was awarded by Harvard University, American professional degree graduate education has been more than 100 years, it has formed the scale and perfect system, and played a dispensable role in improving American social development. Besides, after 1960, professional degree graduate education began to develop and continued to improve in England and France. In contrast to European and American countries, professional degree graduate education began later in Japan, but developed quickly, Independent professional degree graduate education system was quickly established in short period in Japan.Since the MBA education was established in 1991 in our country, professional degree education has made great progress for 20 years. There are 38 kinds of professional degrees in our country, the Chinese characteristics professional degree system with three levels of Doctor's degree, Master's degree and Bachelor's degree has formed. However, owing to the short history of our country carrying out professional degree graduate education, we haven't grasped the training rule, and there are many deep contradiction and problems restricting professional degree graduate education development.The training model of professional degree graduate makes professional degree graduate gain relative stable knowledge, abilities and qualities and implement the composition, and obeys the development rule of applied talents, guided by high education values. The training model of professional degree graduate mainly includes three problems:the first is what kinds of persons to train; the second is with what to train persons; the third is how to train persons. Proper training model of professional degree graduate lies in accurate training aim and "intrinsic logical link based on aim" among training aim, curriculum system, teaching process and other factors,there are some problems in training model of our professional degree graduate:the training aim is not defined inaccurately, and curriculum system emphasizes theory neglecting practice, and teaching process emphasizes knowledge neglecting training ability.this is because of ideas, system and policy. First, the traditional idea of"emphasizing learning and neglecting skills" influences the development of our professional degree graduate education in different degrees. Second, the hindrance of relative system and policy is important reason. The obstacle of system and policy also represents the dependence on the same way in policy change, this is because the government and school establish relative policy and system, but these policy and system are not well carried out or turned aside.The resources of academic degree graduate education are in universities and colleges, while the important resources of professional degree graduate education are in practical fields. Therefore, universities and colleges should be active in cooperating with relative departments, and train high level applied talents needed by social development, and cooperation between production and learning is the rational choice of the innovation of our professional degree graduate training model. The innovation of training model of professional degree graduate needs the support of ideas, system and policy. Changing ideas and improving understanding are the premise of the innovation of professional degree graduate training model, which require reestablishing professional degree graduate education values, and changing the biased understanding. The innovation system is the key to realize the innovation of professional degree graduate training model. The support from policy is the basic insurance of the innovation of professional degree graduate training model. To realize the innovation of professional degree graduate training model, the government should provide support in policy. First, the law relative to professional degree should be enforced, and professional degree should be correctly defined; The second, to perfect the system of establishing professional degree; The third, to improve the condition of training professional degree graduate; The fourth, to establish the cohesive mechanism between professional degree and the qualification.
