For China, modern university system is transplanted from the Western.The real university system construction can not be separated from the mutual blend from the changes in university system between Western and Chinese. Based on the above recognition and the insufficient care on the localization of Western university system, this dissetation attempts to explore the organiztion in Chinese University and tap the fusion mechanism between Chinese and Western cultural elements in university organization. Organization's unique institutional strengths of Chinese University of Hong Kong University, has become increasingly displayed and gained education academic consensus, this dissertation has made a research on university system in Hong Kong area based on research approach of organizational culture and philosophy of the University and presented "Chinese philosophy" concept and its theoretical model.In this dissertation, based on the qualitatively and quantively empirical analysis on Hong Kong and Mainland universuties. it can be used as a theory of regional organizational culture to enhance.From the point of view of institutional change, the logical starting point of Hong Kong University System is the emergence and development of the medieval university system in the United Kingdom. The old English university charter, the college charter and the charter of the University, the first University of British institutional framework (Oxford University, for example) to the legal documents in the form of regulation to define the power relations between the University and the pope, the king and the political authority, established the political status of university autonomy. Hong Kong because of the particular historical circumstances, resulting in a system of modern Western civilization under the traditional system of Confucian ethics under the influence of Chinese civilization and the Protestant ethic of integration of the system evolution, it deeply affected the formation of the University System in the university culture reflected on the organizational culture at the university."Western" qualities. This trait in the application of the ternary theoretical model of the university charter, organizational culture and philosophy, the theoretical concept of "Chinese philosophy". The same root in the culture of origin, Hong Kong and the Mainland, in the context of the two economic and social development of close cooperation, the Chinese concept of "practice should become the common responsibility of the two places.
