This dissertation takes the method of systematic analysis to research into the education in China's rural communities under the guidelines of rural community educational theories. First of all, against the backdrop of China's national conditions, this paper carries out a study of the dialectical relations between rural community education and rural social environment, as well as their interacting and interdependent relations. Secondly , studies also focus on the formation and development of China's rural community education, and the organization and management system of rural community education with its characteristics, types, existing problems and development tendency. Based on this, in the light of the geographical differences in our country's rural economic development, proposed next are the rural communities' educational development model and its implementation strategies as well. This dissertation fall into six chapters.Chapter I . It is the introduction, which briefly outlines the formation background and development tendency of the contemporary community education, the development situation and research progress of rural community education, the significance of this subject, the framework, content and method of the studies, and other issues like innovation and deficiencies.Chapter n . This chapter conducts a relative systematic research into the theoretical issues of rural community education. It mainly studies the fundamental theories such as the concepts, characteristics, structuring systems, organizing institutions, management systems and operating mechanisms. Meanwhile, an analysis is also put forward of the relationship between rural community education and education, rural community education and other types of education. Furthermore, an illustration of the functions of rural community education is provided.Chapterlfl. It analyzes the chief social environmental factors influencing the development of China's rural community education. Taking China's rural community education as a subsystem of the overall rural society, this paper probes into the dialectical relations between rural community education and rural social environment, with thought given to the inner connections between community development and community educational development. And then a niore specific exposition is offered, perceiving from the aspects of rural social economy , political system, science and technology, population and the current status of rural education. Five points included arel. the positive influence of the rural social economic development on the emergenceand formation of rural community education, and the challenges of the existing rural social economic problems to the rural community education; 2. the fine environment provided by the autonomy of the villages to the rural community education, and the roles of rural community cooperative economic organizations and cooperative economy to the development of rural community education; 3. the promoting force brought about by the application of science and technology in agricultural production to the rural community education, and the urgent need of the future rural scientific and technological reform to rural community education; 4. the positive effects of the changes of rural ideological thinking to the rural community education, and the special demand of the rural population with comparative low quality for rural community education; 5. the great drive served by the rural educational system reform to the development of rural community education, and the existing problems of rural education as well as both the opportunities and challenges faced with the rural community education.ChapterlV. This chapter offers a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and existing problems of China's rural community education.
