The theory of morality education process is an important part of morality education theory. It is the basis of morality education theory. The study of it dominates morality education theory and the research of the overall morality education theory. Also, morality education process is the theoretical basis on which to select the content, to work out the principles, to determine the form and methods and to organize the activities of morality education. Different views of morality education process results in different educational practice and will have different effects. Nowadays, morality education in China is lacking in the power of appeal and influence, for which one of the most important reasons is the misunderstanding of the morality education process, which leads to its wrong education practice. To raise the level of the research of morality education, to enrich the theories of morality education and to make morality education theory guide the practice more scientifically, this paper takes the theory of morality education process as its research subject.By taking a close look at the morality education process from the perspectives of philosophy, education, psychology and sociology and especially from the angle of philosophy, the paper makes a careful examination on morality education process and expects to reach a more overall, profound and scientific conclusion. To achieve the above aim, this paper uses the following methods: 1. The unity of historical and logical methods, and logical method as the principal one. On the analysis of morality education process history, the paper organizes in a logical way all the related contents and establishes a systematic structure and a substantial theoretical research. 2. Combination of multiple subjects. The paper makes a combination of research methods of the related subjects, especially moral philosophy and moral psychology, so as to broaden the view and mind and overcome the blind spot and defect in the field. 3. Comparative method. By the comparison of the past and present, international and domestic research of morality education process, the paper obtains much revelation and reference for the morality education process research. The paper consists of 6 chapters. The first is on the nature of morality education process. It starts with a systematic examination of the ancient and present, Chinese and international morality education theories from philosophical point of view, points out that morality education process is the chief process which is put up in the activities of the combination of the educator's guidance in value and the educated's self establishment and reveals the quality of ideological subject and the nature of morality education process. The second chapter makes a research on the law of the morality educational process. This chapter first analyzes different views in the field and discusses the methods of the research and how to determine the law of morality education process. And then it makes a research on its basic law and points out two basic ones: the law that morality educational activity and ideological condition of the educated are mutually restricted, and the law that morality educational process and its elements and social historical condition are mutually restricted.The third chapter approaches the source and motivation of the development and changes in the morality education process----the basic contradictions and specific contradictions. It analyzes the types, characteristics and causes of the contradictions in morality education process and more objectively points out how to realize the conversion of the contradictions and how to quicken morality education process.The fourth chapter makes a research on the mechanism of morality education process. This chapter deals with the mechanism on the macro layer and micro layer. Macro mechanism focuses on guidance mechanism, power mechanism and controlling mechanism while the micro mechanism on the mechanism of guidance, instruction and dredging, living mechanism and situational...
