| According to the current characteristics of information security disciplines in the United States,combined with the mainstream discipline assessment system,this paper proposes a discipline quality ranking index system based on AHP and a discipline efficiency evaluation index system based on DEA.Then,I collected 25 well-known information security universities in the United States and use these two index systems to score the universities,and finally analyzed the ranking results.Firstly,after summarized the concepts of information security and subject evaluation and analyzed the current situation of information security discipline construction and social needs,it is necessary to evaluate the quality of disciplines and the efficiency of disciplines.In the discipline quality ranking index system,a three-level index system was established with the idea of balanced scorecard.The weight of each index was determined by the analytic hierarchy process.The data envelopment method was introduced in the disciplinary efficiency evaluation to determine the index weight.In the end,the information security discipline assessment was completed by combining two sets of indicator systems.In the application of the indicator system,this paper selects 25 well-known American universities for information security,collects data from the official website of the university and third-party authoritative websites,uses two sets of evaluation indicators to score,and ranks and analyzes the results separately.The difference reflects that some colleges and universities cannot balance quality and efficiency construction,and further illustrates the practical significance of the dual system assessment.Finally,taking Tianjin University and Purdue University as examples,the paper analyzes the characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of the information security discipline construction of the two universities in detail,and expands the gap in the construction of Sino-US information security disciplines. |
