Kong Zi's Adult Thought And Its Practical Education Significance

Through interpretation of the ideological connotation in Confucius' morality-developing thought of "acting", "being loyal" and "being faithful", and analysis of his subject morality construction approach of "strengthen myself morally to appease others" , this essay pointed out that the concept of"well-rounded people" in Confucius' thought is different from the term "intactpeople" It is a noble personality standard that can be attained through practicalefforts. This essay has also analyzed defects in the three aspects of juveniles' morality in knowledge, emotion and willpower, and the negative impact from western popular culture and the Internet. The author concluded that: contemporary young people can hardly deal properly with those problems in communication with.others and the society. So it becomes necessary to find out joint points between Confucius' morality-developing thought and today's juvenile morality problems. This essay also discussed the present applicability of Confucius' personal developing thought and his subject morality construction approach and their effect on youths' morality development.
