A Research into the teaching value of Caring is intended to break through long-standing keytone that caring is set as a model of moral education, as a part of moral education and its research subject, using ways of logics from moral education. However, teaching values of caring should be conciously used for teaching value judgment, and transfer its operation into the field of teaaching value. As a result, it not only can be a part of moral education, but also enhance its research subject and logic position. Within the field of teaching value judgment is an existence of teaching values. Caring in the field of teaching value is a kind of teaching value. As a teaching value, Caring has its own origin, thinking, theoretical framwork, ways of expression and running paths. From the discussion of theory of the value of philosophy, this research is intended to reveal the formation, aim, demands, construction, and realization of teaching values by using theory of the value of teaching and teaching ethics as the driving forces to analyze and solve problems.Influenced by instrumental rationality and utilitarianism, the teaching values that students should obtain as much knowledge as possible have been a dominant orientation in school education for quite a long time. All the current teaching activities in schools, especially concepts of teaching goals, teaching contents, teacher-student relationship and teaching evaluation and so on, are mainly this set of teaching values. To be specific, teaching goal is positioned as pursuit of knowledge, teaching contents are mainly from textbooks, teacher-student relationship a subject-object model and evaluation is one-dimensional operation. Teaching activitites under the teaching values cause lots of alienizations and crises, classroom teaching becomes utilitarianized, centralized and technologized. All these lead to superstition to knowledge, shortage of talk arrogance, weak responsibility, less concern to students, students become depressed and short of caring from teachers. Education is an activity of cultivating people, or in other words, a practice of making people people. However, instead of serving to fulfill its natural responsibility and task of civilization, teaching under the influence of current value leads to people become utilitarian and indifferent, the relationship between a person and his ego, a person to another, a person to society, a person to the nature becomes a subject-object model of world, rather than a harmonious model of world. As a result, people become more and more self-imprisoned, less and less free and happy; everything is in great crisis.It is the human instinct of pursuing freedom and happiness that lead people to self-criticize and adjust human values and to long for another set of values. The formation of teaching value of Caring is a response to this background. Generally speaking, its theoretical basis lies in the phylosphy of "myriad things share one body" and "Survival Theory", psychology of humanism in history of human mind. One formation condition is that the Caring in education can meet need of the students in their whole life development, or in other words, caring and physical development, caring and psychological development, and caring and non-rational development. Besides, the possibility that teaching has function of Caring in is another important formation condition.The formation of teaching value of Caring is not an empty one, but it is with its mission. That is the problems of demands. In this research, the demands are operationalized as three aspects: First, the awe to life of students, including concern to health, protection of health, advocate of rationality, modeling of rationality, caring of non-rationality, cultivation of non-rationality. Secondly, advocate of human concerns which are embodied as respect, understanding and acknowledgement. Finally, modeling of sound personality, that is to say that teaching can help the students with pursuit of truth, virtues and beauty. Students' formation of concern quality and sound personality relies on that teachers hold these belief and pursuits, cultivate concern quality through caring atmosphere.Now that students need to learn Caring, first of all, the concept of concern should filtrate all aspects of teaching activities, which is an essential requirement for the current teaching values to reflect upon and construct consciously. Based on the framework of basic components of teaching which include the teaching goals, teaching content, teacher-student relationship and teaching evaluation, this study reflects on the current teaching values and construction , aims to promote students to "learn to care", and to form concern quality. This reflects as a shift of teaching aim from focusing on knowledge to overall interest on students, the unity of rationally and irrationally; a shift of teaching contents from "materials" to a combination of "presupposition" and "generate"; a shift of teacher-student relationship from the "subject-object" existing structure to the "inter-subjectivity" existing structure; a shift of teaching evaluation from the "one-way" operation to the "difference" and "pluralistic" way of thinking. On the basis of teaching values' change and construction, it can infuse caring elements into the composition of teaching activities, and it can also help the overall growth of students to form positive emotion and concern quality.The construction of teaching value of Caring is important for students to form concern quality. However, in order to promote this formation effectively, some specific methodical teaching operations are required. In this study, the author takes the teaching subjects as research subjects, and constructs the teaching operations to promote students' Caring, that is, "love from education" from the perspective of teachers and "concern practice" from the perspective of the students. Studies have shown that love from education plays an important role in the formation of concern quality. Without education of love, there could be no formation of "love" In addition, under the conscious and purposeful design, students are allowed to practice the concern, self-concern, concerning for others, caring for plants, animals and the Earth, and Caring about the material world created by mankind, which is also an important way of Caring formation for students. It is important to note, however, that in the process of practice, students should not care for its own sake, rather than form a rational "concern" concept with the help of teachers. Meanwhile, schools have to conscientiously establish mechanism and norms for the concern practice.
