A Study On The Coordinated Development Between The Economic Structure And The Higher Educational Structure In Fujian Province

The coordinated development between education and economy is of overall coordination, relevance, comprehensiveness and practice The scientific knowledge and accurate evaluation of the relationship of coordinated growth between education and economy will influence the government's macro-arrangement of education structure and macro -guidance in economic structure. Meanwhile it can be seen as a part to implement the scientific outlook on the development. The relationship between economic structure and the higher educational structure is the most important manifestation of the relationship between education and economy. It is an important theoretical and practical question how to adjust further and optimize the economic structure and the higher educational structure, and to promote their coordinated development.Taking Maxist theory as a guidance, from a strategic perspective of coordinated development between economic structure and higher educational structure, taking the results of the study on education and economic development at home and abroad for reference , strengthening the theoretical discussions and innovations.according to analyzing methods from the general to the specific, combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, This paper reveals the general and the special relationship between the economic structure and the higher educational structure. It also shows the mechanism of their coordinated development. The paper can provide the government with reference when they make the policy of the coordinated development between the economic structure and the higher educational structure and the coordinated development between the economy and the higher education.This paper uses the relationship between the economic structure and the higher educational structure in Fujian Province as an example. The author analyzed the economic structure from the following aspects , such as industrial structure , ownership structure, investment structure, demand structure and the structure of employment in terms of the economic structure. The auther also studied the higher education structure as follows: regional structure, hierarchical structure and professional structure, form structure and the institutional structure. The auther also analyzed the current situation, the existing problems and the contradictions arising from the economic structure and the higher education structure. Using various studying methods and combining theory with practice, the auther analyzed the coordinated development between the economic structure and the higher educational structure by the model of empirical analysis and constructed the index system. On this basis, we calculated the contribution rates from the higher education to the economic growth and conducted the relevance status between GDP and the total scale of higher education in Fujian Province. Finally the auther put forward the suggestions for the coordinated development between the economic structure and the higher education structure.The results of the research covered in this paper are of great significance to optimize the economic structure and the higher educational structure. It can provide the theortical support to coordinate the development between economics and education, fostering innovation and enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of Fujian Province.
