Research On The Situation And Development Of The Musical Associations Of Undergraduate Students

Because of roughly similar"homogeneity"at content and form, Chinese musical associations of undergraduate student is unique to social situation and situation of university, this research selected three different types universities in Nanjing(national important, provincial, Private universities and colleges)as mainly observe objects. Analyzed the reasons of why these musical associations over there,according to explain on operational mechanism we found all the musical associations has strongly resembles characteristic: such as learning communities and practice communities. These associations are very different from musical class and societies of music which belong to the school authorities and they can help the undergraduates grow up as well, this benefit is irreplaceable. This study also observed their significant meaningful"performance",according to the frequency which have been played by Guqin, piano and guitar, then analyzed their obvious differences to see folk music, western classic music and pop music. Based on the observation, the conversation, we believe that the autonomy of the musical associations still to be improved, the power and the commercials are still potentially influencing and restricting their freedom and their development, in order to development them better, we need observe them in the background of globalization, we should rediscover its value at this era of "global village", and see it in a new way ,"global civil society"and"a world class university"to built the musical associations.
