| Urbanization is the signs of time and the inevitable result,and the only way to modernization. For developing countries like China,it is the important measure and way to get rid of backward economy and change the style of economic growth. It carries arduous historical mission.For our country which is during the period of economic system transition,urbanization is not only a problem about population transition,but also a complicated problem about society and economy. Urbanization relates to almost all problems during the development of a country,and takes the historical mission of developing economy and promoting social harmony. The power mechanism of urbanization of China has characteristics of dual and complex. It isn't the product of industrialization and economic development. It is mainly driven by political factors from top to bottom,which includes the structural transformation of population,district,economy,cultural and society,and so on.The distortion of the power mechanism of urbanization of China is inevitably against the objective rule of urbanization development. There are a lot of tricky,increasingly acute and uncompromising institutional obstacles and social contradictions. It includes as below:Urbanization development pay more attentions on quantity and pay less attention to quality,and it lay particular stress on extensive;The level of integration of urban and rural is low;Dual structure of urban and rural is highlighting,and rural labors don't enjoy welfare of urban residents due to the limit of domiciliary system;The regional harmony of development of urban is insufficient;and so on. How to solve contradictions during the process of urbanization and to step on new road of urbanization has dual meanings on both economic level and social level : Economic meanings performs on promoting the transformation of economic growth,and stimulating domestic demand,and enhancing the level of rural income by easing dual structure of urban and rural,and coordinating the division of collaboration during cities of different scale,and fully exerting gathering radiation effects of cities,and enhancing supplying capacity of agricultural products.Social meanings performs that migrant workers are always excluded and discriminated by urban colony for the identity reason rather than ability and skill. So it is necessary to eliminate the discrimination on aspects of employment,education and social security with the reform on domiciliary system,Land compensation standards and social security system. Though these measures,we can reduce the famer's feelings deprived,and let them really be into streamline of city life. So from this point,the connotation of urbanization is not only the transition of districts and jobs,but also the transition of identity and life style.The dissertation research on the road and mode of urbanization of our country and its characteristics of different stages,and induct its advantages and disadvantages,and put forward some targeted suggest,and correct the path of urbanization development of our country,on the basis of classic theory,and on the trace that the mode of urbanization depends on power mechanism of urbanization,and on reference to the general rule of urbanization of developing countries,and on special conditions of Chinese reality.I would suggest on the aspects as below:On the aspect of domiciliary system,we could eliminate identity discrimination and reduce by perfecting migration policy and household registration system,and establishing united labor-competing market between city and rural;On the aspects of land policy,the reform is diversified with details of property,and reliance of the establishment changing market,and key of systematic innovation. We could increase compensation level and protect farmers'legal benefit who lose land by publicly auctioning property,and eliminating dual price mechanism on land,and improving land management contracting system,and revitalizing stock of construction land;On the aspect of regional urbanization,we could accelerate coordinating plan of regional urbanization,and perfect spatial structure of regional cities,and improve the joint and coordination and corporation mechanism of regional cities;On the aspect of public service,we could perfect public infrastructure of cities,and enhance the supply capacities of public utilities and public sanitation,and increase administrative official efficiency;On the aspect of social security,we could perfect social security system between city and rural,and establish united policy and organization between city and rural on the principal of a society as a whole jointing with individual account,and enlarge the coverage of rural endowment insurance,and so on. The dissertation includes six parts:The first part is the introduction. It mainly expounds the background and meaning of research,and domestic and foreign literatures,and research ideas and methods. So I would lay the foundation and mat for the theoretical basis,empirical analysis and suggestion.The second part is relative theory and main developing mode of urbanization. At first,I review the origin of city,and expound the concept,determination method,connotation and characteristics. At second,I classify and induct the theoretical system,and make analysis from spatial development of urbanization,population urbanization theory and the relation of urbanization and resources,to put forward a analytic framework and theory basis. At last,I would generalize to make a analysis to the developing mode of urbanization of developed and developing countries,and refine and summarize their characteristics,and point out the tendency of the urbanization.The third part is the historical review of the urbanization of China. I decomposed it for three parts:Tortuous development period,Fast development period,Scientific development period,and make historical analysis,and analyze its characteristics as a whole. At last I make a dynamic quantitative analysis to the relationship of economic development and urbanization of China.The fourth part is the analysis to regional urbanization mode of China. By investigating regional differences and power mechanism and urban agglomeration developing mode among the eastern,middle,western and northeastern region,I would find out the problems during the mode of urbanization of China on the basis of objective data.The fifth part is the mode of urbanization united between city and rural.By investigating several typical model,I would summarize the problems during the process of the unity between city and rural from the starting point of how to solve the city and countryside separation.The sixth part is the path of urbanization of China. On the basis of analysis before,I would summarize and induct the problems of the developing mode of urbanization of our country,and make exploratory analysis to the path choice of urbanization of our country.
