To achieving our goal of building a harmonious and well-off society, persons with ability are indispensable, and hence is education. China's higher education experienced a change from the "elite" to "popular" in a short period of time. College graduates' employment becomes a highlighted issue, which is concerned by all the people. A scientific and reasonable solution to the employment problem affects the implementation of our strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education and the development and harmonious of social and economic. Therefore, study on the theme of college students' employment could rich the (un)employment theories and provide a guidance for practice. The thesis is of great theoretical and practical significance.After a review of literature, this thesis points out that the employment of college students has different meaning for different entities. We can make a system analysis of students' employment by focus on the Process of their Obtaining Employment (POE). And students will also be helpful to find a solution to the employment problem. The paper studies POE on the following aspects:First, a general POE is depicted. The paper makes a qualitative analysis of the main features and participants of the POE. The main factors influencing on POE are also analyzed. The paper pointed out that the characteristics and influencing factors directly affect the results of college student's employment.Second, the thesis studies the issues in POE entrance.This paper presents an individual decision-making model of demand of higher education. Taking the characteristics of education products into account, both the economic and social status bring by higher education is considered in the model. Thus individual demand of higher education and non-competitive factors such as the labor market segregation and social capital can be linked together. Generally, these factors have been found to affect only the Graduate Employment. Based on the model, it can be seen that China's higher education needs is unlimited flexibility with the supply of higher education under the present conditions. This means that existing mechanism is not an effective one to regulate the demand for higher education. Individual's demand for higher education makes certain blindness, considering the Game at the POE entrance. Analysis on the impact of the Enrollment Expansion is also made.Thirdly, the thesis studies the features of college students' seeking jobs stage (narrow sense of employment process).Through a questionnaire survey of university students access to job-seekers and employers, the thesis made a statistical analysis of the characteristics and values of the job seekers and employers. The thesis also made a single-factor and multi-effect analysis of how can sex, hometown and major affect students' behavior and attitude. Comparison of students and employers' attitude on related issues of POE is made.Fourth, the thesis explores the job searching process with simulation. To supplements the statistical analysis and further exploration of job seeking stage in case some variables varies, using Matlab simulation, the thesis made a "what-if analysis on information, major structure and students value.Finally, on the basis of the above analysis, the thesis concluded the Countermeasures of improving college students' employment situation in college's perspective.
