Research On The Behaviors Strategy And Contracts Between The Nodes Of The Pig Supply Chain

Free-range pig farming households in the main structure, causing inefficiencies in our pigs supply chain. It's including, the frequent fluctuations in the price of pigs, slow improvement of breed melioration, pork safety not guaranteed, pig industry lack of international competitiveness, the upstream and downstream enterprises arc scattered, chaotic and poor, and so on. With the scale pig farming, it will trigger corresponding changes in the upstream and downstream. The whole pig farming industry will build up a number of supply chain guided by the market. The competition will change from the manufactures with manufactures to the supply chain with supply chain.In the future pig supply chain, will be mainly two models: One is "Company+(cooperatives+) Peasant Household". In this supply chain, the feed enterprise or meat enterprise is leading enterprises, through farming cooperatives to provide farmers piglets, feed, animal medicine,services, and repurchase hogs. The other is the "upstream suppliers+ scale pig/cooperatives+ slaughter and processing cooperative enterprise" model. In this supply chain, the scale pig farms or cooperatives is the core enterprise, the Genetic Service Providers (Piglet production enterprises) and Nutrition and immunization service providers (Feed and veterinary drug manufacturers) as the upstream supplier, the slaughtering and processing enterprises as the downstream customer, and The three firms form a dose partnership, FormatiOn of the overall supply chain optimization and performance improvement and enhance overall competitiveness.In this dissertation, we use supply-demand analysis, Game Theory and Principal-agent, transaction costs method, supply chain contract method, numerical simulation method, empirical and case analysis and so on, to research a number of issues of the two type supply chain under the uncertainty condition.The uncertainty in this dissertation includes the uncertainty of the pigs breeding, the uncertainty of upstream suppliers, and the uncertainty of the market price.For the "Company+(cooperatives+)Peasant Household" model, we begin from the difficult of farmer financing based on the investigation and study in Jiangxi Xinfeng, put forward one "enterprises guarantee, household loans and closed operation" lending model by leading enterprises to provide security, study its specific mode of operation, provide a theoretical analysis of its performance and make the empirical study of the model at Xinfeng Ganzhou Jiangxi.For the "upstream suppliers+ scale pig/cooperatives+ slaughter and processing cooperative enterprise" model, we first research the structural changes in the supply chain based on the trend of keeping the scale. Then study the relationship between pig-farming enterprises with the genetic suppliers (piglets' supplier) and the nutrition immunization providers (feed, veterinary medicine supplier) of upstream, and the slaughtering and processing enterprises of downstream. We study their behavior selections and contracts, including:The research on configuration changes and strategic behaviors of members on the upstream of pigs supply chain. First, we study the internal mechanism of the structure changes of upstream supply chain from the prospective of transect cost and pork security. Then, we do the theoretical study on the wholesale contract of the supply chain with features of upstream pigs supply chain, namely the supply chain with the production inflexibility and random price. We apply the theory on the analysis for the strategic behaviors of members on the upstream of pigs supply chain based on the research the biological characteristics and features of pigs. And finally, we show the conclusion of the study by empirical analysis.Research the contract between the nutrition and immunization supplier with pig-farming enterprise. First, we analysis the development history, status and problem on the distribution supply chain of feed and veterinary medicine. Then, we study the trend on the structure changes of the distribution supply chain of feed and veterinary medicine with the changes of the pig-farming scale. Finally, we research the contract between the nutrition and immunization supplier with pig-farming enterprise, including the relation of the demand and profit distribution, the selection of the feeds, the value of the technical service, and show the conclusion of the study by case analysis.Study the coordination between pig-breeding business and slaughter enterprises. First, analysis the existing structure of the downstream of pig supply chain. Then system analysis the deficiencies of the existing slaughtering management policy, namely "Slaughter at fixed position, concentrated quarantine". Expounded on the future of pigs downstream supply chain model, research the direction and trend of the slaughtering policy changes. Study the behavior strategy and relation coordination between the slaughter firm and pig-breeding firm under the new slaughter management policy. We research and compare the three types contracts between them, including the market transect contract, wholesale contract, revenue share contract. And show the conclusion of the study by empirical and case analysis.
