Study On Division Of Value-Chain And The Optimization Of The Industrial Structure In China

At the end of 21^st century, IT technology growed fast and became the engine of economy. Eastern Europe underwent drastic changes , and the former Soviet Union broke up. All these countries transfered to market economy,and the global economy linked closely. In the circumstance that the global economy being closely tied, the division of labor developed from the division between industries to the division between products,and now the division of the value chain became the main modern form.The paper taken Marxist materialistic dialectics as a guide, based on the socio-economic development of modern information technology, globalization, integration, and through the research of the division of the value chain, points that modern value chain division is a new form of division based on economies of scale and comparative advantages, resources, non-perfect competition.In this dvision of labour, the main coordination forms are industry cluster, modular, standardization, outsourcing , and the cooperation of network. In these forms of coordination, as the different resource base of enterprises, every enterprise has different control power on the core value units. Those which control the core value chain and the value units own the entire powerful control on value chain and the industry , so that they can distribute value units in the world according to the needs of their own, which ensures that they can maintain a strong competitive advantage, and can also reap excess profits.This division of the value chain and the coordination has an important impacts on the China's industrial structure, which means the optimization of the industrial structure in China has some new features. Modern industrial relations is no longer the traditional relations of the three industries, and the optimization of the industrial structure is no longer from agriculture to industry and service industry. For China, the optimization of the industrial structure means the upgrading of the industrial structure, the reasonable layout of industry and the sustainable development of industry.Therefore, with the deepening of reform and opening up in China, we should take the "scientific concept of development" as our guiding ideology.
