Although self-mangement as man' form existence is the well-known fact when the human begins, academia has not attched much importance to self-mangement issue as the front-line science yet. With the coming of the knowledge economy and the new globalization era , the antinomy of individual and organization has become quite clear, traditional management theory is faced with great challenge, self-mangement issue has been manifested.Making research on self-mangement is not only objective requirement that knowledge economy put forward ,but also is the starting point of deepening social axiology and the internal requirement of expanding scientific management.It is of great theoretical and practical meaning .Self-mangement is a kind of mangemental practice that individual who has self-awareness , self-determination and freedom on the condition that know himself by self-designing,self-learning,self-adjusting and self-controling in order to achieve organizational aim so that can obtain self-fulfillment and full development.As man' form existence, self-mangement develops inherently in the antinomy of I and me, in the antinomy of individual and organization and the mutualism of individual and society.So it expresses subjectivity and sociality as man's characteristic.Uplifting individual subjective spirits and realizing individual subjective value are the main melody of knowledge economy era. Noting and creating individual subject ,making individual from passive to active is the basic meaning of knowledge economy as subjective economy. Subjectiv independence,motile creativity and free selectivity lie inherently in self-mangement, self-mangement of knowledge economy era has manifested individual subjectivity, achieved individual freedom. Achieving individual freedom by self-mangement must be on the condition of assuming human's responsibility .If freedom is deviated from responsibility,it will distort human' sociality ,thus it will lead to the losing of individual freedom.Self develops in society,so self-mangement is historical and social process.We cannot enforce self-mangement without in certain social relations, historical conditions and practical activity. The motivation of self-mangement comes in rational pursuit of self-aim and organizational aim. Individual realize organizational value on the condition of achieving individual value by self-designing, self-learning, self-adjusting and self-controling. Self-mangement constitutes internal mechanism of organizational innovation in knowledge economy era,so it is of great importance to the forming of self-organization and the establishing of learning organization.Seeking individual value and human full-scale development is the human' internal nature as a subjective existence.As a subjective mangemental practice, self-mangement can activate individual potentials at its maximum,meet individual need and promote individual development, actually it carries forward subjective spirits,so it will become ethical rules and essentials of individual value realization in knowledge economy era ,thus it will lead to the leap from realistic self to valuable self. Self-mangement in knowledge economy era makes external force of traditional management to self-discipline, stimulates human's immanent potential,shapes human's personality and enrich social relations,so it will be helpful to the human full-scale development.
