Along with the economic globalization's coming, the business environment of firms has been hugely changed, and a source of competitive advantage is created and eroded by the accelerated pace gradually. Many firms which in order to survive, develop and expand and seek sustained growth in the uncertain environment have embarked on the road of strategic transformation.Facing with this new development of firm strategic change practice, the paper abroad uses the existed research results for reference, according to the status of China's firm strategic transformation, from the nature of strategic transformation, based on the dynamic capabilities theory, involving evolution economic theory, strategic management theory and other theories system, undertakes a comprehensive in-depth analysis of firm strategic transformation capabilities, then builds the theoretical model of firm strategic transformation capabilities both has a solid theoretical foundation and meets a distinct feature of firm management practice. On this basis, by using the cornerstone of dynamic capabilities theory-self-organizing systems views and ideas of evolution economics, puts forward firm strategic transformation capabilities is the firm self-organizing system which as the order parameter of the firm development is the source of competitive advantage, and provides a theoretical basis for the structural model of composing firm strategic transformation capabilities.(2) Building the theoretical model of firm strategic transformation capabilities.
