Study On Management Methods Of The Complex And Dynamic Construction Projects Based On Process Metaphysics

Chinese construction industry is becoming bigger, more complex and productive, which leads to standardized project management. However, a serial accidents in recent years suggest that despite of minor errors, traditional project management strategies are challenged to be improved.Based on the complex dynamic of construction projects, this paper brought up the concept of complex dynamic construction. Problems faced in the construction process are analysed, referring to domestic as well as overseas improvements and innovations of managerial strategies, systematic theories and integrated management, the evolution of lean construction theory and the advantage of IT tools are studied, and this paper focused on building a complex dynamic construction project management model based on process metaphysics。The process metaphysics is a contrast perspective of world essentials to substantialism. Firstly, the basic theory of Wright's is introduced. Secondly, the influence and insights of process theory to construction management model is analysed. Thirdly, with a second thought of traditional management model, a new perspective that the cause of problems in construction is brought up. Finally, a new complex dynamic construction management model frame based on process metaphysics is brought up, which is based on IT technology to building a harmony building environment, by means of controlling dynamics and complex of relational management, and focused on continual improvement of construction management and production and clients'satisfaction.Construction process ontology is the body of information representing construction process. with its autonomy and developable, it is the units of self-organized body. The construction process ontology is defined through innovations in information technology, especially ontology, agent technology. The construction process ontology model is built through analysis of the structure of construction process ontology information and its characters. The research to the construction process ontology is the foundation of harmony management and relation management of construction process.Construction harmony management focuses on micro aspects, creates harmony environment, encourages attendants'initiatives, makes projects more adaptive..The importance of process metaphysics has to construction harmony environment is discussed and a framework to harmony management based on construction process ontology is suggested. Finally, a possible method of construction harmony management, the integrated platform with the media of customer-oriented interaction and Internet and services the ultimate goal of the whole project is built.Construction relationship management connects the project as a whole and predicts the development from a macro perspective by analysing the interactions and interdependence of processes. The contents, goals and characters of construction relationship management is discussed, the framework based on construction process ontology is brought up, the relationships between projects'integrated management and characters of construction process ontology is analysed. Finally, based on construction process ontology, the dynamics of construction process network is researched and a case model is given.To sum up, traditional project management theory is challenged and needs to be updated to adjust to the dynamic and complex development. This paper discussed several primary issues and needs improvement later on.
