For the 21st century of China, with the rapid development of the economy, the incessant rising of the average income and the acceleration of urbanization, more and more people begin to concentrate in the town. Under the situation, the travel of urban population is more and more widespread and the way to travel is much more diverse, both of which lead to the rapid expansion in the demand and holdings of private cars. So now, in the most cities, the number of the motor vehicles and the population is getting the rapid growth. But the growth of the urban road area could not keep pace with the population and motor vehicles. Therefore, the city traffic problems are becoming prominent increasingly such as traffic congestion, traffic accidents, emission pollution and so on. Among them, the traffic congestion has become a "chronic disease" in the cities’ traffic problems. And its most fundamental solution is priority to develop the urban public traffic meanwhile improving the urban traffic structure, to enhance the urban public transportation ability, to improve gradually the utilization of the urban road resource and to make the maximize utilization further.This dissertation, through the review and analysis a large number of research literature and data at home and abroad, concerning the collection, mining and application of the bus travel’s information, the relationship between the public traffic stops and capacity as well as the optimizing method on the bus stops etc., based on bus IC card data constructing bus travel chain, taking the bus travel chain as the research object, analyzes the bus travel time and space’s characteristics and puts forward the optimization method on the layout of the urban bus station. This paper establishes the traffic capacity assessment model,and analyses the influence of bus stops on traffic capacity.According to the bus system of Liaoyuan,this paper designs the simulation test scheme.Based on the bus lines,site location and the basic information of the road conditions designed the simulation parameters,then simulate the influence of bus stops on traffic capacity.Finally,this paper analyzes the simulation results.The main content are described as follows:Firstly, this paper is based on the travel data collection method of the city bus IC card system to get the data of the public bus travel, extracts residents transit characteristics, and analyzes one vote per bus IC card travel process. The thesis introduces the development and application of IC card and its charge system at home and abroad, given the method of bus travel based on IC card data survey, dissects the advantages and disadvantages of IC card data investigation method. This paper makes the in-depth studies on the basic concept of travel, the bus trip data analysis, the various feature extraction of travel in the IC data platform, and discuss the process of one vote per bus IC card travel, then given the single fare types identification method of site and transfer. On this basis, this paper will lay a foundation for analyzing the distribution characteristics of the bus travel time and space.Secondly, according to the analysis and study in the structure of urban residents’ travel chain,the thesis conducts the specific analysis for the distribution characteristics about residents’bus travel time and space in the urban road network. On the basis of urban bus travel behavior, combining system based on IC card information analysis and research of the urban residents travel characteristics, constructing public transit link chain. For bus travel chain information for residents’ bus travel time and space distribution characteristics of the specific analysis, and for the public transportation facility location optimization and scheduling of bus lines provide necessary data support and technical support. The analysis mainly includes tow parts, namely, the characteristics of urban public transit time and space characteristics research. Each of the three parts respectively builds the relevant parameter calculation model, and further provides the reliable data support for the optimization of bus stops.Thirdly, this paper supposes to establish the optimization model of urban public transport stops’layout design to ease and improve the layout of the bus stops. First, to create the mathematical model of the optimal site’s spacing; Its purpose is to achieve the shortest total time of the bus passengers’travel under the precondition of the assumption, to apply the sequential unconstrained minimization technique to solve the optimal station spacing; Then, according to the actual situation of lines, to consider the related factors between traffic driving and passengers’travel that affect the size of the station spacing; to establish the station spacing correction model and work out the revised value and to modify the optimal station spacing, and to gain the actual value of station spacing. With the Liaoyuans’33 road bus station, as an example, this paper has carried on the model validation.Fourthly, according to the road and bus system of Liaoyuan,applied the layout of bus stations model to the 33 road bus lines, determine the specific location of each site, thus it is concluded that the distance between each site, the basic parameters such as the site road environment to build simulation environment. Combining with the model which the bus stations’ impact on the traffic capacity, this paper conducts the simulation experiments and analyzes the result.The research method of this paper can reduce the travel survey data and the difficulty of public transport planning in the process of data collection, rich urban public transport planning theory system, improve the service level of urban public transportation system, promoting the harmonious development of urban public transportation and other modes of transport, has high theoretical value and practical significance.
