This thesis carries out a detailed analysis on Japanese case-auxiliary words used by Mongolian Japanese-majors for the first time in order to find out the phenomena of language transfer, including both positive and negative transfer, appeared during the use of Japanese case-auxiliary words on the basis of second language acquisition and bilingual theories. The research has taken 180 Mongolian Japanese-majors from Inner Mongolia University, Inner Mongolia Normal University and Huhhot College for Nationalities as the objects of study, combining the methods, such as, error analysis、contrastive analysis、interpretation、T test for SPSS statistics、single factor analysis and interviews, etc. As the result of T test for SPSS statistics and single factor analysis, it has proved that their errors made during the use of Japanese case-auxiliary words are caused mainly by the first language interference. The research not only provides the researchers scientific、 detailed and dependable data and theoretical basis for second language acquisition, but also benefits the learners of Japanese whose first language is Mongolian and the teachers of Japanese.The thesis is composed of five parts:introduction, chapter Ⅰ, chapter Ⅱ, chapter Ⅲ and conclusion. The introduction presents the reasons to select the topic, background, theories, significance, purpose, methods, material of the research and the previous study.In Chapter Ⅰ, the concepts, usage and classification of Mongolian and Japanese case-auxiliary words are introduced.In Chapter Ⅱ, general use of case-auxiliary words by Mongolian Japanese-majors is analyzed. And a comparative analysis is made on the case-auxiliary words used by Mongolian Japanese-majors from different grades. Lastly, an analysis is performed on the selection strategy of Mongolian Japanese-majors while using case-auxiliary words.In Chapter Ⅲ, it has been proved that Japanese case auxiliary words used by Mongolian Japanese-majors are mainly interfered by their first language, Mongolian, based on the results of T test for SPSS statistics and single factor analysis.In the conclusion, the author summarizes the whole thesis and gives some suggestions on Japanese teaching for Mongolian college students majoring in Japanese in Huhhot, Inner Mongolia. Also the achievements and shortcomings of the thesis are evaluated objectively. Lastly, the author points out that it is necessary to carry out the study based on the theories of second language acquisition.
