As a type of subcultural phenomena, and an especially important social phenomenon, homosexuality is among the concerns of different sectors of the community. From the literary perspective, gay narrative can be said that it’s a special kind of narrative phenomenon in literary narrative. Homosexual writing is like a special landscape in mainland China and Taiwanese literature, it contains the people’s awareness of sex, lust, moral and human nature, and can be said to be a unique type of writing among all kinds of contemporary literature. Although it has gone through different times of development and evolution in different geographical backgrounds, each writer has their own writing strategy in different geographical backgrounds and different historical periods. Distinctive and subtle theme will produce a different kind of aesthetic effect on different periods of homosexual narrative. Homosexual narrative is a conversation platform for both edge culture (specifically should called edge subculture) and mainstream culture, with the main purpose is to demonstrate the plight of the gay community to survive, to express their psychological demands, and to highlight people’s sense of ownership in the patriarchal society. This article is on homosexual narrative ofcontemporary literature in mainland China and Taiwan as a subculture across cultural, sociological, psychological, anthropological and among other perspectives. Drawing on comprehensive, cutting-edge, contemporary related theory for a systematic, comprehensive and in-depth discussion of homosexuality to explore the literary narrative rheology, ethics, pattern and style. Meanwhile, it combined with different homosexual narrative text and writers’creative ideas to discover the narrative which contains ideas, artistic content and implication. This paper will mainly involve homosexual narrative research which paradox of gay lust and normal social ethics, homosexual orientation and gender identity issues, homosexual individual differences in social life which related to the value of literary narrative and significance of research. Through the homosexual narrative literature, render the perspective view to see differences of homosexuals living environment, culture, education, psychological characteristics in the complex relationship. In order to find the contradictory relationship between humanity and morality by In-depth discussions of human and social ethics, and thus analysis the feasibility of human culture for homosexual’s survival between mainstream society culture and edge subculture, also explore the diversity world of homosexuality and the existence models, so to its significance construction.
