is suggested that the comparative advantages of different regions should be given play to to build large and medium-sized cities and small cities The spatial pattern of urbanization with coordinated development of cities and towns forms a high-quality development power system.Therefore,the high-quality development of urban agglomeration has become an important task of the new urbanization construction of the country.However,in the process of rapid development of urban agglomeration,there are still contradictions in urban system,spatial layout and economic division of work cooperation,which greatly affects the process of high-quality economic development.How to give full play to the comparative advantages of cities in the urban agglomeration,coordinate and handle the division and cooperation relationship between central city and peripheral small and medium-sized cities,and promote the city.It is very important to promote the high-quality development of economy in an all-round way.Academic research on the development of urban agglomeration functional division has made some progress.The economic effect of urban agglomeration functional division has been widely the relevant domestic and foreign research literature.Under the guidance of the theory of industrial division,new economic geography,externality and value chain,the paper explains the mechanism of the impact of urban agglomeration functional division on the high-quality economic development.Based on the actual data,the paper investigates the functional division level of urban agglomeration and the
