Research objective:In order to satistied the scientific, vital, common and social demand of mass physical exercise, the research from what point of view about physical fitness evaluation to carding earlier research achievements and to explore the theoretical basis and actual condition. On this basis, the research according to exercise capacity evaluation theory to filter and develop a kind of way to accomplish the goal of evaluating the exercise capacity of 20~39 age group adults in cities and towns, and then establish a referenced order of evaluation. In order to achieve the aim of promoting self evaluation about body’s motor function, and to open mind of physical fitness and to offer guidelines which include actual application value for mass physical exercise get healthy benefits.Research methods:Firstly, choose theory evidence to establish theoretical system and develop a way to self evaluate exercise capacity through literature data and induction and deduction research methods. Secondly, using experimental method through recuiting 322 subjects to take test in order to attain the actual proof of self evaluation of exercise capacity, and then ascertain the particular load scheme and normative test procedure. At last, also use experimental method, and on the basis of earlier research results and amplify samples through method of percentiles and progressive scoring to constitute referenced evaluation criterion about 20~39 age group respectively, and select the better result as the last evaluation grade.Research results and conclusions:(1)The preliminary self evaluation concept applying in physical fitness area is as followings:Use the objective order of evaluation/evaluation criterion which obtain from evaluated methods or questionnaire which passed scientic test to complete the procedure that individual or group could achieve test the self physical fitness condition.(2) The particular programme of modified TCAR method which obtained theoretical and actual proof is:do increasing load stagewise shuttle run starting at speed of 7.2km/h and distance of 12 meter,5 shuttle run in every stage and every shuttle time is 12 seconds running and 6 seconds rest, the increasing load speed is 0.6km/h and distance is 1 meter in every state, there are 16 stages in total until the subjects exhaustive, the rhythm controlled by the modified TCAR test record.(3) The multiple regression analysis results shows that the evaluation modle of 20~39 age group in cities and towns by modified TCARmethod is:ECI (kcal/min) =-10.387+2.084×sex (male=1, female=0)+1.157×PV (km/h)+0.134×weight(kg).(4) The referenced orders of evaluation to evaluate the exercise capacity of 20~ 39 age group in cities and towns are:firstly, male(upper:≥27.19; upper middle: 25.26~27.18; middle:20.94~25.25; lower middle:19.40~20.93; lower:≤19.39), female(upper:≥21.68; upper middle:20.27~21.67; middle:16.87-20.26; lower middle:15.45~16.86; lower:≤15.44).(unit:kcal/min/kg*100)...
