University shoulders a heritage of civilizatio, personnel training, innovation and technology, and the important functions of social services, and is the comprehensive national strength and an important indieator of the level of development. Higher education is faced with more and more intensive international competition, whether university has core competitivenessm, the level of special features, striving for being world-famous universities, implementing the concept of scientific comprehensive, coorinared and susrainable development, and ulrimate realization of the Chinese nation.Based on the core competitiveness of the theory, this thesis probes into the concept,nation and constituents of the core competitiveness of the university .Basically constructing a flawless core conpetitiveness theoretical system, After that, it sets up the evaluation index system of core competitiveness of university, according to the principle of evaluation index design. Finally, it sets up the evaluation index weighing of core conpetitiveness in university on the basis of AHP ,and the evaluation model on the basis of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation, and Shandong University, an empirical analysis. Finally, on the basis of science and objective evaluation of the core competitiveness this thesis identify a set of nurture, maintain and enhance core competitiveness of the university of the effeetive ways and strive to form their own core competitiveness what has important strategic significance in the great change and development.
