Sibe and Mongolian are the Altaic language, the former belongs to Manchu-Tungusic family and the latter belongs to Mongolian language family. Based on ethnographic field work, the dissertation has described the phonetic systems, noun grammatical category of Sibe language with a description of the language systematically. And then compared the phonetic and grammatical forms of nouns of Sibe and Mongolian With method of historical comparative linguistics, and explored the developing principles and the kinship of Sibe language.The dissertation consists of six major parts:preface, chapterl, chapter2, chpater3, chapter4, and conclusion.The preface sketched the Sibe history, Sibe language and its application, introduced the researches of Sibe language at home and aboard. Then again, it briefly introduced the subject intention, the material resources, and research methods.Chapter1was expounded the voice systems of Sibe language, and summarized its sound correspondences between the written words and spoken words.Chapter2summarized the law of sound correspondences between the Sibe and Mongolian by the comparative studying on pronunciation.Chapter3systematically expounded case, number, possessives, and comparative forms of grammatical category of Sibe language.Chapter4compared the noun grammar forms of the Sibe and Mongolian.Finally the main results of this dissertation were summarized in conclusion.
