Organization networking development is one of the important contents of enterpriseorganization structural changes and global competitive strategy since1980’s. As akind of governance structure between the market and bureaucratic organization,network organization has advantages on two aspects: flexibility on market priceadjustment and the authoritative control on bureaucratic organization. But theperformance of network organization advantage depends on network organizationalefficiency. In practice,"cooperation inefficiency", and "frequent termination", the twokinds of phenomena may appears every now and then in the collaboration betweenorganization members. Based on the perspective of Organizational Behavior theory,one cause of the above problems is the ignorance of trust, conflict negotiation,communication and some other controls on network organization interaction processin our country’s enterprise network cooperation. Trust, commitment, communication,conflict and conflict management, the five key elements of relationship interactiondimensions in network organization are taken as the antecedent variables on networkorganizational efficiency. Besides, the relationship between the five key elements andnetwork organizational efficiency is attempted to discuss in this study.The method of questionnaire is adopted in this paper to obtain research data. To sumup,121effective questionnaires of small sample and366valid questionnaires of largesample are collected. Several methods, such as CITC analysis (Corrected-Item TotalCorrelation), Cronbach’s a, Analysis of Correlation, confirmatory factor analysis, aretaken to test the reliability and validity of the measurement scale. The researchhypothesis and the theoretical model are verified by the method of Structural equationmodeling. The aim of this study is to reveal the mechanism of the impact of networkorganization relationship interaction on network organizational efficiency, as well asthe key role of trust in relationship interaction under the background of Chineseculture.In this paper, the main content and innovation are as follows:1. Group interaction process is introduced to organization concept, enrichingOrganizational Behavioral Science. By introduction the concept of group interactionprocess to organization level, the behavior frame of network organizational efficiencyimpact factors is integrated in this research, so that network organization research inbehavior dimension becomes rule-based. Network organization interaction processembraces the task dimension and the relationship interaction dimension. The relationship interaction dimension is mainly consisted of inter-organizational affectivestate and behavior factors two aspects. The representative variables ofinter-organizational affective state involve trust, commitment; while the mainvariables of behavior factors include communication, conflict, and conflictmanagement way as well. This study is conducted around these key elements ofrelationship interaction.2. The impact of the key elements of relationship interaction in network organizationon network organizational efficiency is analyzed from the dimension level;meanwhile, the deep relationship between variables is revealed as well. It is foundthat in different dimensions, elements appear varied impacts on networkorganizational efficiency, including positive effect, negative effect and on effect.These results can be used as research foundation to further explore the impact of eachfactor on network organizational efficiency in different situations.3. The core role of trust in network organization interaction is verified, and it isdiscussed that the impact path of trust on network organizational efficiency throughother relationship interaction variables. From the perspective of network organizationrelationship interaction, the core role of trust in network organization relationshipinteraction is examined; moreover, the mechanism of trust’s indirect impact onnetwork organizational efficiency is revealed in this study.4. A measurement scale on network organizational efficiency is designed from the twodimensions of transaction cost and transaction profit. With an ability to produceenormous synergistic effect, which any single enterprise does possess, networkorganization can bring profit to its members, and form transaction profit. Breaking thelimitation of transaction cost in economics, network organizational efficiency isstudied in this research, from the dual perspectives of transaction cost and transactionprofit, abandoning the traditional perspective of single transaction cost. In addition, ameasurement scale is built on the basis of the two dimensions: transaction cost andtransaction profit, to judge network organizational efficiency.
