Resource is foundation and source of human society’s survival and development. Looking back at the history of resource utilization and research, there are still a number of issues that need further research and exploration.Throughout the20th century, from natural resources to capital resources, human resources, knowledge resources, cultural resources and so on, the focus of discussion to resources, mainly concentrated in the traditional concept of resource view or level of physical resources.Although some scholars proposed the Gig-RBV (Resource Based View) concept, Pan-RBV one and System-RBV, in this field there are not systematic and in-depth studies, especially systemic RBT (Resource-based theory) discussion on the complex environment of globalization, information technology, and a diversified resources. In the21st century, the complex disciplines began to prosper, which methods and theories have been applied to various fields. In order to solve resources’ scientific problems, from the perspective of complexity, with systems engineering approach, must explore and study the resource ecosystem structure, hierarchy, law of motion, dynamic adaptation, stable equilibrium, configuration, optimization, health status, ecological restoration and reconstruction and other issues. Seen from the literature review, there are more qualitative analysis methods used to RBV study, and less quantitative analytical methods used. Therefore, building mathematical models, describing its scientific laws, using measurement evaluation, and proposing practical methods of management, are one of the main directions of RBV research.By using the method of combining the human science and the natural science, playing cross-advantage of management science, mathematics, information science, and biology, from the perspective of complexity science, this paper analyzed resources ecosystem structure, running, cycling, self-organization, stability and balance, optimizing configuration, system health, ecological restoration and reconstruction, proposed Eco-resource based View (EBV) concept and its models to describe its internal rules and to evaluate the health of the ecosystem and the firm resource situation, and took an example to verify the correctness of part models.This thesis is divided into seven chapters, as follows.Chapter1is an overall introduction. It includes three parts. The first part is the introduction of the research background, purpose and meaning. The second is the literature overview, including the resource-based view (RBV), the resource ecosystem and the enterprise ecosystem complexity research. The third is the thesis research methods, research ideas, innovations and structure.Chapter2is the relevant theoretical basis introduction, including complex scientific management, complex system theory, industrial ecology, enterprise ecology, and enterprise growth theory.Chapter3is the enterprise eco-resource model research. This part discusses the concept of enterprise eco-resource and explains its properties, builds and designs a structure model of enterprise eco-resource, an enterprise resource hierarchical model and an enterprise eco-resource bionic-running model.Chapter4is the enterprise eco-resource stream study. At first, builds and designs enterprise resource discrete motion model and enterprise resource continuous motion model. Secondly, analyzes three kinds of enterprise resource forms (material, energy and information). At last, builds and designs enterprise resource optimization model and enterprise resource fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model.Chapter5is the enterprise eco-resources collaborative study. This part discusses ecological factors, enterprise tolerance and adaptability, builds and designs the window telescopic mobile model and system health evaluation model, and explores the eco-resource system control, and environmental ecology restoration and reconstruction.Chapter6is the application study, the insurance industry as an example. The application of theoretical methods and models proposed in this thesis includes China’s insurance industrial eco-resource system studies and Ping An Insurance Company resource evaluation and adaptive evolution ones. Part theoretical methods and models proposed in this thesis have been shown to be feasible and correct. Chapter7is conclusions and outlook. This chapter is a summary of the thesis, which gives conclusions, management recommendations and future research directions.
