Research On Influencing Factors Of Rural Community Cohesion

Cohesion is not only an indispensable connection to maintain national unity and social solidarity,but also a primary element for social harmony.It can be said that the stronger social cohesion represents the solidarity and cooperation between people and a higher degree of the harmony of the whole society.Any country or nation must unite all social members to promote the all-round progress of the society if they expect to remain invincible in the modern fierce competition.China is an agricultural country which has a large number of rural communities.Generally speaking,the cohesion of rural communities is not only of utmost importance to solve the problems of agriculture,the rural areas and farmers,but also the key to the smooth development of China,Chinese people and the cause of socialism.This dissertation aims to promote overall cohesion of rural community through the implementation of cohesion of ordinary people.The first part is which aims to propose the research questions and the theoretical foundations of this study.The introduction mainly introduce the background of this dissertation,research contents,research purposes,the theoretical and practical significance of this research,the research methodology and the innovation of this dissertation.The part reviews the ancient and modern thoughts on cohesion as well as the researches on cohesion and social cohesion of Chinese contemporary scholars.In addition,this chapter gives an analysis of modern western and contemporary modern times.From the perspective of ideological and political education as well as sociology,this dissertation summarizes community theory,cohesion theory,the ideological and political education of rural areas and the issues of cohesion.The second chapter is the research design of this study which is mainly about the development of history and the current situation of the fields.Besides,the relevant concepts like cohesion and the cohesion of rural communities are defined.The part reviews which the discourses of cohesion by the classic theorists of Chinese Communist Party which is represented by Mao Zedong Combing the literature previous studies show the majority judgment of the study.Particularly,this chapter also gives a systematic review of the theories and the related literature of Marxist scholars about the "village community" and the cohesion of rural communities.Compared with the lack of empirical research;macro-general,the lack of quantitative research and microscopic analysis;partial realization of elite cohesion in rural communities,but the cohesion of rural communities has become increasingly public weak.Chapter second puts forward four research hypothesises which constitute the main body of this dissertation.To be specific,the first research hypothesis studies the impact of the present ideology upon cognition,identity,trust,election and cooperation in rural communities.The second research hypothesis focuses on the influence of different views about time and space on the cohesion of rural communities.The third research hypothesis concentrates on the impact of transmutation of different types of ruling upon the rural community cohesion.The fourth research hypothesis makes a research of the differences between rural community the elite and the mass in the influencing factors.The main part is which an analysis of the cohesion of rural communities is given.It is mainly about the transmutation of rural community cohesion from the;"charming domination"to the“legal-rational domination".In addition,this chapter integrates the theories of the"charming domination" and analyzes the cohesion of rural communities under the "charming domination".Besides,a profound analysis of the "legal-rational domination" and the impact of the“legal-rational domination" on the cohesion of rural communities is given.The"legal-rational domination" brings rural communities great changes,which then leads to the significant reforms in the influencing factors of the cohesion of the rural community members.Based on the specific circumstance and different influencing factors of the operational process of rural communities,an analysis of influencing factors of fields such as the Yu Cun's cognition,self-identity,trust,belief,cooperation and election is provided.Mixed methodology analysis of the factors in different image,it can be found that nowadays the present cohesion of the Yu Cun village members has been greatly weakened compared to the earliest years of the formation of the Yu Cun village and the cooperative period after the liberation.The third part is which gives an solution of the problems of the cohesion in the rural communities.Through the empirical tests of the rural elite and the public system under the thesis of dominant ideology,it explores factors affecting cohesion of elite and mass in rural community and verifies the different ideology system needed by cohesion of elite and mass in rural community.Factor analysis model is constructed in the linkage process of two systems i.e.elite system and mass system.Hybrid method analysis of the village of jade can be found in the rural community cohesion in weakening,in both the public and elite jade village survey data show a rural community in interest differentiation are urgently needed again to realize the ideological cohesion and integration,and dominant ideology proposition test more need to strengthen the rural community economic and social development and realize the good governance,which ensures that the key to the survival and sustainable development of the rural community.The part aims to explore how to optimize the cohesion of rural communities.This part is mainly concerned with the following five effective strategies:1.to strengthen the rural community members of the dominant ideology identity;2.to promote the reception of the ideological and political education in the rural communities,particular attention to the aggregation of new media;3.to expand the political participation and pluralistic interest expression mechanism of farmers;4.to refashion the respective belief systems of the elite and the mass.5.to achieve good rural community governance of further economic and social development to achieve sustainable rural community cohesion and so on countermeasures.The execution of the path and promotion will be conducive to realize the cohesion of rural communities again,which achieves the harmonious and sustainable development of rural communities.The last part is the conclusion of the study,which summarizes the problems of the cohesion of the present rural communities and how to realize the cohesion of rural communities.Besides,this part comprehensively responds to each proposition which is discussed in the previous parts.Meanwhile,this part provides a prospect for the future research on the cohesion of rural communities.
