As a large agricultural country, agriculture has always occupied an important position affecting the overall situation of the country. At the same time,as a large population country, the population of rural areas in China accounts for the vast majority of the total population. Therefore,in the current situation of socialist construction in an all-round way,the solution of the "three rural" problem as the bottom line has always been related to the overall development of the country. With the deepening of reform and opening up,although the preferential agricultural policies formulated by the Party and the state have made certain progress in rural areas, compared with urban areas, various problems still stand out in rural areas, such as imperfect infrastructure, farmers' incomes have not reached sustained stability, and so on.Under the above background, there are still scattered "super villages" in the vast rural areas of our country. These villages not only have achieved economic success, but also have done relatively well in politics, culture, health and other aspects.Through the comparative study of these villages,we can find that the phenomenon of rural elites participating in political and economic activities has appeared in these villages, and these elites have played an active and important role in the development of rural communities. Therefore, this study hopes to explore the internal driving force of the development of a "super village",that is,the positive role of rural elites,so as to provide ideas for other villages to get rid of poverty and become rich. The case study was conducted in H Village of Laifeng County,Enshi Prefecture. The main investigation methods were interviews and life history.DGH,the rural elite of H Village, was selected as the research object, and its personal life history was taken as the clue to go deep into the field. This paper mainly conducts in-depth interviews with the subjects and their surrounding figures(such as DGH lover, company employees),H villagers and H village government staff.Accordingly, the article firstly explains DGH's social background, family background and early experience, which is the premise of the research object's character formation and a series of subsequent behaviors;secondly,it shows the process of DGH's growth from ordinary peasants to economic elites, that is,individual entrepreneurship, when the "passive impact" of rural elites on rural community development has been reflected;thirdly,it shows that DGH's identity has changed from general to general. With the development of economy,a series of DGH measures in H village have also made tremendous changes in many aspects. At this time, the role of rural elites in promoting the development of rural communities can be reflected. Finally, this paper draws a conclusion and puts forward some suggestions on how to tap, attach importance to and develop rural elites.
