Kindness is a kind of noble quality and moral code. It is not only the reasonable expression of individual's goodwill in the true temperament, but also the consideration of others in one's own place to deal with the issues of social relations.Kindness is mainly acquired and maintained by individual to develop and sustain the system of self-renewal, self-improvement. Kindness is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, which can be traced clearly in the development of the Chinese civilization. After the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,kindness became one of the important parts of socialist core values. The values of kindness cooperate with the other core values to have effect. The values of kindness is the significance, value views, opinions and attitudes for kindness to people. The value of kindness in the perspective of Socialist is essentially different from western ethics of love, fraternity (which is advocates by bourgeois), and the hypocrisy (which is often defended by people). The kindness embodies the essential requirement of socialism, inherits the outstanding traditional culture, absorbs the achievements of world civilization and embodies the spirit of the age.The root of high education is to cultivate talented person of great virtue.Cultivating what kind of virtue is very important, Morality education will be general and vague if this problem remains unsolved. Kindness, as the foundation of college students, is a virtue which radiated the most extensive social relations. The value of kindness plays an important role: 1) in the well development of college students'individual all-round, beauty, intelligence and physique full scale development; 2) in colleges and universities qualified builders and reliable successors of socialist cause;3) for the whole society up, for the formation of good values, and for the construction of a harmonious society and the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation the Chinese dream. Kindness also plays the intermediary role for social existence because in the transitional period of performance, the problem is more outstanding and it projected onto the university campus. Cultivation values of kindness can help to regulate the conflict, anomie, chaos and concerns in the university campus. It is very important, necessary and urgent in this perspective.For a long time, kindness values is an important aspect of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. It has been changed constantly in the cultivation of college students especially since the reform and opening. With the constant change of kindness values, the cultivation work successively experienced actively exploring and dealing with difficulties, meeting the challenges, sticking to the process of innovation. In the twists and turns in the course of a forwarding, cultivation of kindness values has made some achievements and accumulated some experience.Many surveys show that kindness values cultivation of college students show a relatively good development momentum: first, college students have a high degree of identification of the value of kindness; second, the university students' consciousness to practice the kindness values is strong; third, the main channel and position of school in the cultivation of kindness is obvious. These are the basement, solid foundation and enlightens to cultivating the kindness value of college students.However, the cultivation of kindness values towards college students still exists five problems including: 1) attach importance to theoretical education while ability training needs to be emphasized; 2) attach importance to innovation while influence depth needs to be enhanced; 3) attach importance to model guide while institution construction needs to be improved; 4) attach importance to dedication consciousness while legal advantage needs to be advocated; 5) attach importance to overall cultivation while education combination remains to be shaped.To cultivate the college students' values of kindness should be start from three aspects: Firstly,it is important to learn from the tradition and focus on the whole world. Chinese traditional culture, especially the Confucian culture contains rich thought about the kindness. We should make full use of the knowledge assorted from Confucianism,folk culture, and other countries'or regions'experience about kindness cultivating, especially those in the folk culture and pay attention to the important role which the local rules, directives traditional family precepts, folk customs and popular literature resources played in cultivating college students kindness values; Secondly, it is important to grasp the direction and take the content into consideration. We should not only uphold the ideology of Marx doctrine, but also absorb the latest theoretical achievements of the communist party of China,adhere to the unity of purpose and regularity, advanced and hierarchical selectivity, selectivity and guidance, and the ideality and reality, establish the cultivating goal, to help universities have kindness,doing good,set up the good work,to raise its values of kindness from the individual level to the social and national category; Thirdly, we should explore the path and strive for practical results. In cultivating college students' values of kindness, the course of choosing the pathway will play a bigger role in the final effect of bad or good. In order to promote the effective implementation of the college student's values of kindness, based on the six aspects of instilling, demonstration, evaluation,environmental optimization, experience, institutional guarantee, we need to combine with practice, have the courage to grope, hold positive thinking and have courage to innovation.
