In the social background of global economy, not only people' s life and working modes, but also their thinking and behaving modes are under constant changes. Under such circumstances, junior teachers in universities have a special role to play , in which they are both the educators and the educated. Imprinted with features of modern society,junior teachers cultivate the behaving modes in conform with the development of the times and society. They are of similar age and of close growing experience with college youth. Thus, junior teachers as a group share collective characters with college students. The two parties have sympathy with each other in terms of ideology, thought, language and behavior. So, it is easy for them to approach and understand each other. By teaching and working directly with students in universities, junior teachers impose the utmost influence upon college youth. Each word or action of them can exert a subtle influence on students and further guide them unconsciously. Therefore, their belief, ideal, moral and working principles all have inseparable influence upon students' thinking and behaving, upon talent quality of higher education and upon cultivation of all-round socialist builders and successors.The thesis researches on the behaving modes of college junior teachers under the theory of Marxism. It combines the research methods of philosophy,politics, sociology and psychology. It has seven parts as follows.The first part introduces the background and significance of the study of junior teachers' behaving modes. An overview of the previous research is given to further analyze the situation and causes of present behaving modes of junior teachers.The second part presents the nature, characters and general development of human behavior and behaving modes. It summarizes the relevant research of different disciplines or schools on behavior and further analyzes the internal and external factors influencing human behaving modes. Moreover,it defines the research subject---college junior teachers in terms of age and identity, explores the specialties, influence of the behaving modes of junior teachers.The third part presents the rationale of the Marxism theory study focusing on actions of young teachers of higher institutions, in which the relationship between being and being conscious theory, Marxism theory on human beings and contemporary Marxism views on youth and teachers are discussed from various perspectives.The fourth part conducts questionnaires on present condition of junior teacher' s behaving modes. It chooses Beijing college junior teachers as the representatives, discusses the situation and features of junior teachers' behaving modes from six aspects --- politics participation behavior, career morality behavior, teaching and education behavior,communication and interaction behavior, purchase behavior and family behavior. It provides first-hand data for further analysis on causes and solutions.The fifth part sets junior teachers' behaviors in the context of the times. It analyzes its forming and developing factors for the future exploring of solutions.The sixth part, based on the demand of the times, presents the internal requirements, basic principles and methods for the improvement of junior teachers' behaving modes.The seventh part gives suggestions on solutions for improving junior teachers' behaving modes, based on the above theoretical and practical analysis and the illustration of its objective and principles.
