Research On Influencing Mechanism Of Satisfaction With Urban Community Public Service On Residents' Well-being

Happiness is the eternal pursuit of human beings,as well as the ultimate goal of social governance and national development.Not only the well-being reflects the subjective feelings of individuals towards their own objective living environment and conditions,but also it is the standard of public policy and social governance level.City,as a population area,with the acceleration of urbanization,the relationship between the level of urban governance and the healthy development of the city and the quality of urban residents' life is becoming closer and closer.Today,with the collapse of the "unit",as the basic governing unit at the grass-roots level of society,more and more communities have taken the duty of delivery of public services which were embedded in the unit,and their unique status,value and function are becoming increasingly prominent in the process of urbanization and modernization.As the main social contradictions in China have been transformed into the contradiction between the people's growing needs for a better life and the unbalanced and inadequate development,how to provide the public with high-quality public services to meet their diverse needs and realize their happy life has become a new goal and requirement of social governance and development in China.At the same time,it is also an important task of the urban governors.Satisfaction with urban community public service reflects the satisfaction of urban community residents with the diversified community public service provided by the multi-subject of community,and it is the subjective evaluation and cognitive embodiment of the satisfaction with public service.Not only it embodies the quality of public services in urban communities,but also it highlights the level of governance of urban community.However,most of the existing studies about the satisfaction with urban community public services focus on the antecedent variables that affect the satisfaction with urban community public services,but to a certain extent,they neglect the possible outcome variables and mechanism."People's well-being is a yardstick for measuring the effectiveness of reform and development".Happiness is regarded as an important index to measure individual's development and social function.It is not only a kind of value judgment to the subjective meaning and quality of life,but also a kind of fact judgment to the objective condition.From the aspect of research area,most of the existing studies about happiness is concentrated on the fields of economics and psychology,and the research area of public management is still limited.From the perspective of research level,most of the studies on happiness focus on the national happiness index from the macro level and individual well-being experience from the micro level.However,there are relatively few studies on community residents' wellbeing from the meso level.Therefore,based on the new public service theory,Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory and governance theory,this study attempts to find the mechanism satisfaction with urban community public service on residents' well-being from the perspective of social capital and willingness of participation.By constructing the structural equation model and hierarchical regression analysis,this study draws the following main conclusions: First,satisfaction with urban community public services and residents' well-being is significantly positive correlation.Specifically,there is a significant positive correlation between residents' well-being and satisfaction with urban community basic social security,satisfaction with urban community safety,satisfaction with urban community sports service,satisfaction with urban community environment,satisfaction with urban community traffic.Secondly,social support plays a mediating effect in the process of the impact of satisfaction with urban community public service on residents' well-being.Thirdly,sense of community plays an mediating effect in the process of the impact of satisfaction with urban community public services on residents 'well-being.Fourthly,social support and sense of community play a chain mediating effect in the process of the impact of satisfaction with urban community public service on residents' well-being.Fifth,public service motivation positively moderates the impact of satisfaction with urban community public service on residents' well-being.Based on the research findings,this study proposes relevant promotion strategies.First,we should strengthen community construction and improve the quality of community public services.Second,build community culture and enhance community identification.Third,cultivate social capital and improve social support.Fourth,broaden participation channels and enhance participation experience.Finally,the study discusses the limitations and future research.
