Family Resilience Of Female Offenders

The deep causes of female crimes and how to effectively control them have become the key issue that has been studied and concerned by domestic and overseas scholars and all sectors of society.Women as important members of the family,especially when the leading women commit crimes,their family functions must be damaged.The family will be continuous dissolution and collapse.What it brings is the weakening of family functions and roles.Family is the basic unit of social organization structure.It is also a necessary condition for most people to participate in social practice.With the rapid change and development of society,there are various risks in it.Groups exposed to risk will suffer frommultiple pressures.Pressure can not only give the family positive development,but also bring difficulties to the family,andmake the family suffer somenegative and destructive influences.First of all,women in prison for crimes,it has a huge impact on the family itself and the rest of the family;secondly,when the specific family of female crime encounters pressure and changes,the individual and other members of the family will have multiple difficulties in adversity.How will the offender and other members of his or her family face difficulties and seek breakthroughs in adversity? How to face and deal with pressure? So,how to face the adaptability of family and society is the main content of this paper.The purpose of this study is to analyze how the specific family of female offenders face to the pressure from the family itself and social adaptation.Guided by this question,this study will answer the following questions: First of all,what are the changes and characteristics of female families after they are sent to prison or released from prison? What are the types of crimes committed by women and the logical relations between various types of crimes and their families? Secondly,taking the female criminal family as an example,what factors affect the social adaptability of this particular family in the process of resistance to adversity? Finally,what strategies should be adopted to eliminate the tension in the process of helping this particular group to adapt?This study has both theoretical and practical significance.At the theoretical level,this study integrates the identity theory and social identity theory to explore the resilience adaptation of female crime as a specific family.From the micro,meso and macro perspectives,this paper explores the self-identity,role identity and material identity of specific family members in the face of post crisis self-identity,opening up a social adaptation research model of family resilience.From the perspective of family resilience,based on the basic principles and theories of sociology,through theoretical and practical multilevel research and analysis,this paper deeply analyzes the key causes,trends and a series of substantive impact on the family caused by female crime at this stage in China.It has opened up the research mode of specific family social adaptation.At the practical level,first of all,this study puts forward development strategies and suggestions for specific families and family members;Secondly,this study studies the adaptation and inadaptability in family adversity from the dual perspectives of social adaptability and family resilience,and confirms the process of family resilience through practical basis.In the past,the research on female crime in China mostly focused on the female offenders themselves.In the study of the formation factors and types of crimes committed by women,there are many studies on the types and control of crimes committed by women,but little attention has been paid to the family issues of such specific groups.In the aspect of research theory,it emphasizes the division of different subjects,and lacks the integrated research model of specific family.This paper considers that we should integrate the social identity theory of sociology and psychology,to explore the cognitive,psychological and behavioral process of female criminal family members in the process of adversity after their family function is damaged.Therefore,we can dynamically grasp the degree of resilience and the process of social adaptation of the whole family.Previous studies on resilience are mostly found in psychological research literature.Its main defects lie in overemphasis on quantification,lack of attention and analysis on the context of social practice and individual initiative,and difficulty in forming scientific consensus on the measurement theory and method of resilience.In view of this,based on qualitative research methods,this paper will change the research perspective,and the research focus is no longer limited to the measurement of "resilience",or the representational problems such as resilience,but "resilience" as a dynamic process,a process unfolding in the interaction of structure,social adaptation and initiative,From this perspective,we can deeply observe and analyze the formation of resilience of female offenders' families.This study uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods to investigate the adaptation characteristics of female criminal families in difficulties and the formation of family resilience.By the analysis of 500 questionnaires,the crisis degree of specific families was determined;through in-depth case interviews with 46 people,this paper analyzes the process of social adaptation and the formation of resilience of specific families and family members.In this paper,we first summarize and review the domestic and foreign research on female crime and related fields,then it constructively puts forward the idea of carrying out the research on female crime in the sociological sense again.Finally,it summarizes and expounds the outstanding characteristics of female criminals with a special family.According to the research on the main types and characteristics of female crimes in China,the contradictory state of female self and family structure after the crime can be studied through four factors: resources,stress events,cognition of stress events and crisis.Face to these factors,we start from the social groups,culture,changes,family resilience and other aspects,and rely on the basic principles of sociology to systematically and comprehensively analyze the core factors that induce women to commit crimes and the deep-seated impact on families and other aspects caused by crimes.This study uses the grounded theory of qualitative research methods,around "how do they deal with family changes?" We conduct research on this core issue,thendiscuss the protection factors and risk factors of the family members of female criminals after the "adverse events",as well as their dilemma response to the "adverse events",and finally describe the forms of their resilience.In terms of role identification,the perspectivestarts from two aspects: family identity and social identity,then examines the situations in which specific family groups have difficulties and pressures,and there are contradictions and conflicts,and the resulting contradictions and discomfort.It is found that most specific families are dissatisfied with family life,family income,parent-child relationship and support relationship,which is also the reason why most female criminal families have changed their family functions.Most female criminal family members yearn for the original family,that is,the return of blood family.The original family is not only a social system and structure of production and reproduction,but also a haven against external risks and difficulties.In this paper,the author will fully refer to and draw lessons from previous achievements.At the same time,based on the blind spots and defects of existing research,we hope to find out and fill in the gaps.In the meanwhile,it will be based on many research advantages of sociology,and hope to deepen and expand the research on female crimes at both horizontal and vertical levels,and comprehensively examine and think about the impact of female crimes on family functions.On the one hand,it can further expand the research of Sociology in the field of crime and family leadership,on the other hand,it can realize the integration and exchange of sociology with other disciplines,and improve the theoretical support and guidance value of sociology for solving practical social problems.Finally,from the perspective of modern development,we summarize the main laws of female crime in China,the process of family function change after the crime and the ways to strengthen the family's resilience under multiple pressures.We explore the trend of future female crime in China,the orientation of role identification and family resilience after returning to the family.This paper provides a diversified vision for the development of a specific family.In the meantime,it proposes a more humanized social adaptation strategy for the specific family of female crime,so as to enhance the resilience of the family and establish the recovery of women from the trauma.
