A Research On Ideological And Political Functions Of University Physical Education

University physical education is school education in higher education level.In history,many thinkers in all times and in all over the world paid great attention to the important position and role of physical education in cultivating talents,and it have been recorded by many classics in China as well as abroad.Since the 21 st century,in combination with the new opportunities and challenges facing talent training,the party and the state have further promulgated the importance of school physical education in implementing quality-oriented education and promoting students' all-round development through the promulgation of a series of documents,promoting the modernization of education and realizing the greatness of the Chinese nation.For the revival of the Chinese Dream,it is of great significance.When General Secretary Xi Jinping talked about cultivating the builders and successors of the socialist at the National Education Conference,he further emphasized the important position of sports in educating and educating talents at the National Education Conference,and clarifies the “open enough physical education classes” as an important step in the cultivation of talents,which is more reflected in the deepening of the understanding of talent training.From this point of view,in-depth exploration of the ideological and political education elements of university physical education,active play and the release of the ideological and political education functions contained in university physical education,become not only the new requirement for talent training in the new era,but also an important aspect of promoting the innovation of ideological and political work content in universities.As an indispensable part of the university's disciplinary system,curriculum system and practical system,university physical education is not only a practical form to improve the physical fitness of college students,but also a duty to shape personality and temper the will.This affects people's ideological and political education.The function of infecting and shaping people coincides.Therefore,to play the ideological and political education function of university sports,we must take university sports as the entry point and the foothold,put ideological and political education into the category of university physical education,and deeply understand the historical logic and theoretical logic of the relationship between the two.Based on the existing theoretical foundations of school physical education and ideological and political education,this research was based on the technical route of “problem-measure-effectiveness-construction”,combining abstract “theoretical research” with specific “experiential research”.Specific methods such as data method,empirical research method,logic analysis method,verification research method,logic construction method,etc.,were used to make the two researches objects have two-way docking,mutual correction,and strive to comprehensively and accurately sort out the ideological and political education function of university physical education.The internal and external factors exerted by the constituent elements and the influencing factors,and finally the scientific design strengthens and improves the implementation path of the ideological and political functions of university physical education,and then realizes the innovation of research perspective,research content,and research methods.The main body of this paper consists of five chapters.A summary of the contents of each chapter is summarized as follows:The first chapter mainly studied the related theories of ideological and political education functions of university physical education,and uses the combination of theory and reality to conduct in-depth research on related concepts,internal relations and theoretical foundations,to combine and interpret a logical basis and premise for follow-up research.University physical education has the same target with ideological and political education,as well as the same goal of strengthening moral education and cultivating people.As for educational functions in the aspects of patriotism education,honesty education,unity and cooperation awareness training,and legal concept cultivation,both of the two are interactive.This study believed that university physical education is related to college sports and the healthy growth of college students' physical and mental health.On the one hand,they undertake the task of strengthening college students' physique.On the other hand,they also have strong educational attributes,which have important significance and unique role in educating people.The importance,investment situation and development trend of university physical education reflect the development and changes of the times to some extent.With the continuous development of the national fitness concept and the further deepening of the education system reform,students can have fun,enhance physical fitness,improve their personality,and temper their will in physical exercise.These are all important driving forces motivated by the function of ideological and political education.The second chapter follows the idea of "division basis-specific performance-factor relationship".Firstly,it analyzed the division basis of the ideological and political education function of college sports.Secondly,it started with the specific performance of "function" and explores related functions.And at the end reveals the relationship between the elements.This study believes that there are many ways to divide the ideological and political education of university physical education,such as affected field,affected targets,affected level,and specific types.From the perspective of concrete performance,the ideological and political education function of university sports is inherently consistent with the function of ideological and political education.It can be divided into ideological guidance,character shaping,standardization,spiritual motivation,physical and mental adjustment,and aesthetic edification.Based on these six functions,this study analyzed from two aspects: horizontal interaction and vertical stage penetration.The third chapter begins with the perspective of vertical dynamic development,analyzes the concrete manifestation and characteristics of the ideological and political education functions of college sports in different periods,and on the basis of which summarizes the basic characteristics.The author believes that regardless of the East or the West,whether it is the Eastern "bushido","Six Arts","Wenwu" or "Three Kinds of Education" are also the Western religious and spiritual periods of concern for spirit and flesh,or Sparta's military goals and sports,moral goals and sports are respected,or the political significance and sports period of the national power promotion by the knights,the core values of modern countries,the all-round development of people and the period of sports,or the ancient Chinese feudal society or the New Era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the ideological and political education functions of university sports are constantly being played,and in the process of evolution,the transformation from "singularity" to "diversity",transformation from "fragmentation" to "systematisms" in functional structure in functional content,and the transformation from "class nature" to "human nature" in functional value have been presented.The fourth chapter began with the perspective of horizontal static development,designing survey questionnaires and interviewing outlines,according to the questionnaire survey of more than 4,000 students from 10 colleges and universities in different regions,different majors and hierarchical categories,interviewed were conducted with 15 colleges and universities in the field of physical education and public physical education teachers.This chapter systemically sorted out problems like the general positioning of university physical education,the insufficiency of function,the lack of university physical education measures,the ineffective distribution of functions,the lack of university sports synergy,and the poor functional practice.At the same time,combined with the previous data research,this paper analyzes the influencing factors of the ideological and political education function of university physical education from two aspects of social factors and audience factors.The fifth chapter discussed the realization of the path,the optimization strategy and other issues in the four aspects of concept selection,basic principles,realization media,and practical exploration,aiming at providing feasible opinions and suggestions for university physical education to give full play to the function of ideological and political education in real life.This study believed that in the choice of ideas,we should adhere to the ruling of "socialist core values",adhere to the leading of "people's all-round development" concept,and adhere to the guidance of the "human essence theory".As for the optimization principle,In the principle of optimization,we should stick to the combination of guidance and practice,humanity and science,advancement and extensiveness,connotation and benefit,drive and explicitness.As for the optimization medium,three dimensions of classroom teaching,extracurricular sports activities,and sports culture construction could be taken into consideration.As for practice strategy,we can make “curriculum educating people” guide the essence of physical education in the university,make “fitness educating people” strengthen the extracurricular training of university physical education,make “rule educating people” strengthen the university sports competition,and make “practice educating people” guides the condensed sports culture in university.
