In 2014,there is 270 million peasant-workers in China. The total quantity keeps growing, but the growth is slowing down. The peasant-workers bring much of demographic dividend to economic and social development, but they can't cover by Social Security effectively. The national bureau of statistics shows that the urbanization rate has reached 54.8%.On the contrary, the China Academy of Social Sciences tells us that the true urbanization rate is far below the number. We need to attract more peasant-workers work and live in cities and towns, which is the key to change the urban-rural dual social structure and promote the urbanization.Based on the previous research, the paper takes the employee's endowment insurance as the peasant-workers expected income when they retire and bring it in Harris-Todaro model, that can elicit the employee's endowment insurance play positive effect in peasant-workers migration. And then the paper use the IVProbit model to study the state of CSS2011(Chinese Social Survey). The econometric analysis show the conclusion that the migration of new-generation peasant-workers and the middle-generation peasant-workers are affected by employee's endowment insurance significantly.Through the 20 peasant-workers' interview, the paper finds out how the endowment insurance affects the migration decision. In the end,the paper proposes that we can make some polices that lengthen the peasant-workers work in cities and towns and raise the wage of peasant-works,which can promote the peasant-workers take part in the employee's endowment insurance, raise the attraction of urban to peasant-workers and keep they live in the cities and towns.
