The construction of a modern economic system needs to rely on a high-quality development economy.The main body of economic development is the real economy,and the important support for the rapid development of the real economy is depending on the manufacturing industry and the producer service industry.Nowadays,development of the new round of information industry in our country and the gradual upgrade of manufacturing translate from single “production” driven type to "production + service" two-wheel driven type.Promoting the interactive integration and coordinated development of the manufacturing industry and the producer service industry has become the driving force for the sustained and efficient growth of our country's economy,and it is also a key factor in achieving environmental protection.At the same time,the fundamental driving force of economic development comes from innovation,and the service industry has now become the leading force leading innovation.Therefore,the organic integration of manufacturing and modern production services plays a decisive role in promoting economic development.ln the process of economic slowdown,problems such as irrational economic development structure and "predatory" development have become prominent,such as serious resource consumption,resource waste,and ecological environmental pollution.Behind these problems all indicate that the manufacturing industry can no longer achieve economies of scale and extensive economic development.The improvement of industrial efficiency depends on the interconnection between different production activities,and it will inevitably cause environmental pollution problems.These have become the biggest constraints on the development of the manufacturing industry.This thesis constructs a theoretical model and mechanism of environmental pollution caused by the collaborative agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing industries combines static theory and dynamic evolution,and proposes a targeted research hypothesis model and conducts empirical testing.The main work content is as follows:First,the thesis analyze the evolution mechanism of the Co-agglomeration of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry,respectively.Based on the role of categorization and agglomeration,we constructe an industrial collaborative agglomeration-environmental pollution model framework through theoretical models and data derivation methods.The model results show that there is an interdependent relationship between the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry.The producer service industry can promote the production efficiency of the manufacturing industry by improving technological innovation and reducing transaction costs,and contribute to the development of the manufacturing industry and stimulate productive demand,and ultimately promote the development of the producer service industry.The congestion effect of the collaborative agglomeration of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry is reflected in two aspects of industrial production and social life.Through the analysis of the influence mechanism and path of collaborative agglomeration and environmental pollution,the basic hypothesis of this article can be initially put forward: the collaborative agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing will help increase the total factor productivity of manufacturing,thereby reducing environmental pollution;The level of collaborative agglomeration of the manufacturing industry presents an inverted "U-shape" to environmental pollution;collaborative agglomeration led by different industries has obvious differences in the intensity of pollution emissions.Second,the analysis of the characteristics of the co-evolution and agglomeration of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry shows that Chinese manufacturing industry and the producer service industry both exhibit spatial agglomeration effects,while the producer service industry agglomeration has not formed an obvious industrial agglomeration scale.The agglomeration of urban environmental pollution in China has spatially dependent,the environmental pollution of cities in the eastern and central regions obviously shows high-high agglomeration characteristics,while the environmental pollution of cities in the western region obviously shows lowlow agglomeration characteristics.Through the establishment of the model structure of the collaborative agglomeration of producer service industry and manufacturing industry,and environmental pollution,the results show that there is a spatial correlation between the collaborative agglomeration of urban industries and environmental pollution.Third,using the panel data analysis of 283 prefecture-level cities in China from 2003 to 2018,it is found that the collaborative agglomeration of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry presents an "inverted U-shaped" relationship with environmental pollution.Using the interaction terms of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry's synergy agglomeration index and the manufacturing efficiency to study the relationship between the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry's synergy and agglomeration,manufacturing efficiency and environmental pollution.The collaborative agglomeration of the manufacturing industry is conducive to improving the total factor productivity of the manufacturing industry,thereby effectively reducing environmental pollution.According to the research of subregional city data,the impact of the coordinated agglomeration of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry in the eastern and central regions on environmental pollution all presents an "inverted U-shaped" relationship.The one-time coefficient of the coordinated agglomeration of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry in megacities is negative,and the increase in the degree of coordinated agglomeration is conducive to the reduction of environmental pollution.However,the coefficients of the agglomeration of producer services and the collaborative agglomeration of manufacturing industries in medium and small cities are not significant,indicating that the dependence between the two is not strong.In addition,the collaborative clustering of software industry and manufacturing industry,the collaborative clustering of financial industry and manufacturing industry,and the collaborative clustering of transportation,storage and postal industry and manufacturing industry can effectively curb environmental pollution to a certain extent.Fourth,our research show that the collaborative agglomeration of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry generally has a "threshold effect" on environmental pollution.By using the panel threshold model to use the collaborative agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing industries,manufacturing agglomeration,and per capita GDP as the threshold variable data models,the results show that that when the collaborative agglomeration of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry is used as the threshold variable,there is a double threshold phenomenon.The threshold values are 0.7398 and 0.9234 respectively.The second threshold effect is not significant,indicating the synergy between the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry.Agglomeration and environmental pollution satisfy the "inverted U-shaped" relationship.When the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry synergistically agglomerate with itself as the threshold or per capita GDP as the threshold variable,it can exert a significant emission reduction effect.Fifth,through the mediating effect model,this thesis study the influence mechanism and action path between the collaborative aggregation of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry and environmental pollution.Taking the electricity consumption and population density of the whole society as the intermediary variables,revealing the mechanism path of the collaborative agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing industries on environmental pollution.The model results show that the collaborative agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing can reduce electricity consumption.The collaborative agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing can improve environmental pollution governance capabilities through energy conservation.In addition,the use of population density as an intermediary variable also shows that collaborative agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing can improve pollution.Industrial synergy can use population agglomeration to affect the environment to achieve pollution control.First,expand the influence of traditional document single-industry agglomeration on environmental problems into the relationship between diversified agglomeration and environmental pollution in the collaborative agglomeration of producer service industries and manufacturing industries.In terms of data,the sample data is expanded to data at the city level,showing the effect of city size and the performance of city characteristics such as different city economic levels.Second,the impact mechanism of the collaborative agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing industries on environmental pollution is divided into three parts: manufacturing efficiency,industrial agglomeration,and industrial structure adjustment,and an estimation model is constructed based on this.In the empirical study,the analysis results of Chapter 5 are fully connected with the variable selection of Chapter6,which reflects the progressiveness of logic and the scientificity of the selection of threshold variables,and it has a great impact on the environmental pollution caused by the collaborative agglomeration of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry.The effect of the impact is further discussed.Third,traditional technological progress and economic development level are used as intermediary variables.Due to their multiple attributes,they cannot reflect the mechanism of the industry's impact on the environment in this article.This article creatively uses energy consumption and population density as intermediary variables,theoretically,The path mechanism of collaborative agglomeration on environmental pollution can be analyzed in depth,and the application level can be used as the basis for the impact of energy consumption,population agglomeration and urban area on environmental issues.
