The born of computers has significantly marked the development of microelectronic technology in the middle of the 20th century.In the field of microelectronics technology,Information technology becomes an irreplaceable role in the information age in microelectronic technology,which also indicates that human society has ushered a new era when high technology develops rapidly,and economic development relies more on knowledge and technology instead of the solely natural material resources.So that the accumulation of knowledge and technological progress become an inexhaustible source for the prosperity of a country.Moreover,the practical activity spaces of human society has been changed affected by the era with information technology as the core,resulting in the expansion of another dimension.Under such circumstances,human beings are no longer satisfied with the practical activities in physical spaces.So that they enjoy at the electronic space,expanding from the past platform based on matters and energies to a new platform with information as the core.In the past,people saw the world model in a monotonous and objective way until information technology raised their creativity and imagination to an unprecedented height.Meanwhile,such huge changes have also profoundly affected women:compared with traditional technology,information technology manifests a more neutral characteristic.To this end,the old task allocation methods established in accordance with the physiological differences between men and women are no longer applicable.Under such circumstances,both women's social practice,free space,and the corresponding role played by women will become increasingly prominent.Although women are able to expand their development space for the popularization of information technology,their development is still constrained by the stereotype gender concepts and the indelible but long-lasting concepts of gender relations that were established in the early human society.The unbridgeable gap hanging between the value orientation of men and the intrinsic value of women in specific field has directly caused that most women are out of reach of these technical fields.Although women's survival problem has been solved to a certain extent as information technology era approaches,women's development is mainly constrained by the social atmosphere of gender inequality and the cultural atmosphere dominated by the traditional male society.As the information technology industry develops,the gender gap and the digital gap within women groups expand continuously,which has directly caused the increasingly prominent inequality between the sexes and within women groups.Under the information age,earth is compressed and digitized into an objective database by the internet.Such a digitization is of great importance for every woman who bears the responsibility of family,work and life,as well as the self-development and self-worth realization at the same time.The advent of the information age has ever brought hope to many women,who regarded it as a brand new opportunity to promote the equal development of women.However,data analyzed and visible phenomena show that the world under the information age is still an extension of the real space,and women cannot just realize their status and self-worth with the advent of the information age.Inequalities such as "sex discrimination" still exist under the information era.When a society is composed of people,traditional social concepts constrain technology development to a certain extent.Progress made in social relations is an intuitive manifestation of social progress.Women are facing different development issues under the information age.As information technology develops rapidly,we should discuss the opportunities and challenges ushered in the self-worth of women in China from two directions:(1)Observe and consider the development of the information society and the transformation of women's internal values;(2)Criticize certain misconceptions against women from the perspective of women.The transformation of social economy,politics,cultural and other aspects to women's internal values represented by information technology is our obligation.So that can gender awareness be universally promoted and recognized in the entire society.And then women can maximize their physical advantages.Moreover,the old concepts are reformed,the entire society becomes more and more equal,and the two sexes will eventually develop harmoniously.
