Obesity is becoming more common in today's society, which has become one of the public health problems in the world.Obesity can not only cause a series of physical health problems, but also lead to the decline of cognitive function, especially inhibition function. At present, there are many ways to control weight, and the effect is not the same.Physical exercise is one of the most harmless, green and healthy means of weight control, especially for improving the inhibitory function of obesity cognitive process.Aerobic exercise is a traditional way of exercise,in which exercise intensity is an important factor. However, can aerobic exercise improve the inhibition function of normal weight function people to obese people? If the hypothesis is true, what intensity of aerobic exercise can produce the best benefits? What are the characteristics of brain activity? In addition,high-intensity intermittent exercise,as a popular way of exercise, has made preliminary progress in the study of improving the inhibition function of normal weight people. Can high-intensity intermittent exercise also improve the inhibition function of obese adults? What about the characteristics of brain activity? These problems are worthy of further discussion. On the basis of relevant theories, this study attempts to reveal the characteristics of the inhibitory function, food inhibition and brain activity of obese people affected by exercise. In the first study, the behavior and brain activity characteristics of obese adults in response inhibition and conflict inhibition were preliminarily explored.Event related potential technology was used to compare obese adults with normal weight adults to investigate the behavior and brain processing characteristics of obese adults in general inhibition function(Experiment 1)and food inhibition function(Experiment 2).The results showed that the general inhibition function and food inhibition function of obese adults were worse than those of normal weight adults. The specific manifestations were slower reaction time or lower correct rate, and the average amplitude of P3 was smaller. In Study 2,based on the characteristics of inhibition function of obese adults, two aerobic exercise intensities suitable for obese people were formulated:low-intensity and moderate-intensity aerobic exercise. The ERP characteristics of the relationship between acute aerobic exercise with different intensities and general inhibition function(Experiment 3)and food inhibition function(Experiment 4)in obese adults were explored by using event-related potential technology. The results showed that the obese adult male after acute moderate intensity aerobic exercise exhibited relative the control conditions in general conflict inhibition and food response inhibition tasks. The results showed that the average amplitude of N2 increased and P3 decreased. In the third study, acute high-intensity intermittent exercise intervention was used to explore the behavior and brain activity characteristics of obese adults with general inhibition function(Experiment 5)and food inhibition function(Experiment 6)by using event-related potential technology. The results showed that after acute high-intensity intermittent exercise, the response speed of obese adult men in general conflict inhibition and food conflict inhibition tasks increased, the average amplitude of LPP increased, and the activation level of frontal region of brain increased. Therefore,we draw the following three conclusions:(1)The general response inhibition, conflict inhibition, food related response inhibition and conflict inhibition function of obese adult men are lower than those of normal weight adult men.The specific performance is that there may be a widespread negative correlation between obesity and inhibition function, resulting in slow reaction speed and difficulty in collecting cognitive resources;(2)In the process of general conflict inhibition and food response inhibition, the way of brain resource collection is more effective in acute moderate intensity aerobic exercise;(3)Acute high-intensity intermittent exercise can improve the general conflict inhibition function and food conflict inhibition function of obese adult men.The specific performance is that the acute high-intensity intermittent exercise can speed up the reaction speed, increase the recruitment of late cognitive resources, and improve the activation level of brain frontal region.
