As the main participants in the operation of international sports events,the competitive advantage of international sports event service organizations is not only related to the efficiency and excellence of international sports events,but also related to the international competitiveness of the development of sports event industry.So it is of great significance to study the competitive advantages of China's international sports event service organizations in the current period of reconstruction of sports globalization governance system and strategic opportunity for China to vigorously develop sports industry.To clarify its connotation and characteristics,to explore its influencing factors and mechanism,and how to enhance the competitive advantage of China's international sports event service organizations under the existing environment and conditions have increasingly become the key issues of common concern and urgent need to be solved by academia and industry.As for the acquisition of organizational competitive advantage,Peter Drucker thinks that the key is the effective use of technology and knowledge resources.Jean Barney believes that it comes from the continuous learning and innovation process.Based on this,we combine normative research with empirical research,review and analyze the theory of competitive advantage,organizational learning theory and network capability,we construct the theoretical model of learning orientation,network ability and competitive advantage according to the paradigm of "psychological tendency-ability change-result perception",and taking Shanghai international sports event service organization as examples to probes into the relationship and mechanism among them.By using the methods of literature analysis,expert method,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics,730 organizations that have participated in the service of major international sports events in Shanghai were investigated.Based on the hypothesis framework of "learning orientation network competence competitive advantage",the competitive advantage of Shanghai international sports events evaluated,and the 730 valid questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS\AMOS software.The basic conclusions are as follows:Firstly,the basic characteristics of international sports event service industry are as follows: on the one hand,international sports event service products have the characteristics of "Demand Generalization";on the other hand,the production of international sports event service presents the characteristics of highly localized loose network and non localized value chain business network.Secondly,the essence of international sports event service organization is the knowledge heterogeneity with international sports event service as the core.The combination of Demand,Knowledge Base and Organizational Learning,Actor and Network together explain the basic attributes of international sports event service organization,and also determines the generality and particularity of the Competitive Advantage of international sports event service organization.Thirdly,the learning orientation of international sports event service organization consists of two dimensions: learning commitment and open mind.Both of them have a significant positive effect on network ability;open mind has a significant positive effect on competitive advantage,while learning commitment has no significant direct effect on competitive advantage.The reason may be that there is a remote temporal relationship between them.Lastly,the network capability of international sports event service organization has multi-dimensional structural characteristics,network planning ability,network configuration ability,network operation ability and network space occupying ability all have significant direct promoting effect on competitive advantage;moreover,each dimension of network capability has complete mediating effect in the impact of learning commitment on competitive advantage,while plays a part of mediating effect in the impact of Open Mind on Competitive Advantage.On this basis,the Management Enlightenment of the Promotion of the competitive advantage of the International sporting events in China has put forward in the paper,such as,Attaching importance to Organizational Learning and promoting the construction of Learning Organization.Giving consideration to both short-term and long-term effects,to promote the system and culture building at the same time to stimulate the enthusiasm of learning staff.Paying attention to the network capacity building,to take the initiative to participate in the external network relationship building,and bring into play the positive effects of network capacity.Compared with the previous studies,the innovation of this paper mainly includes the following points: firstly,the generality and particularity of international sports event service industry and the generality and particularity of service organization's Competitive Advantage were discussed for the first time,so as to form the theoretical basis of international sports event service organization's competitive advantage.Secondly,we have constructed a preliminary theoretical model to clarify the relationship and mechanism between Learning Orientation,Network Capability and Competitive Advantage of international sports event service organization,which not only expands the application scene of the existing theory,but also further enriches and consummates the theory achievement of the Organization Competitive Advantage.
