Since the popularization of higher education,the local undergraduate colleges and universities in our country blindly follow the first-mover mode of the old undergraduate colleges and fall into the misunderstanding of "greedy for perfection,climbing high convergence ",which leads to the functional inefficiency with talent training as the core.With the trend of the transformation of local undergraduate colleges and universities to application,the integration of industry and education has become a breakthrough in the transformation.In the practical exploration of the integration of industry and education,some local undergraduate colleges and universities first try,in combination with the local industrial background and the reality of colleges and universities,a new type of college organization-industry college has been produced.This study uses the theory of organizational experiment,organizational innovation and new institutionalism to construct a theoretical framework to interpret the relationship between industrial colleges and local undergraduate colleges and universities.First,organizational innovation and diffusion of colleges can be used as an organizational experiment to accumulate more sufficient organizational knowledge for the transformation of local colleges and universities,thus affecting the transformation process.Secondly,organizational knowledge is embodied in the practice of organizational innovation.External legitimacy refers to the process of obtaining authoritative recognition.Finally,there are two possibilities for college organizational innovation to influence the transformation of local colleges and universities.One is that college organizational innovation can become a breakthrough in the transformation of local colleges and universities from the perspective of knowledge production,institutional innovation and overall innovation.The other may be dissolved by the old system of local colleges and universities,thus showing the outcome of innovation failure.It is found that the transformation of local undergraduate colleges and universities is difficult because it is an inhibitory super stable system.The characteristics of mutual restraint between subsystems in the system determine that there are great difficulties in the path of local undergraduate colleges and universities from the whole or a subsystem.Therefore,local breakthrough is needed to find a way out in organizational experiment.The establishment and diffusion of industrial colleges reflect the nature of organizational experiments.The organizational diffusion of industrial colleges has experienced two stages of national diffusion in the background of industrial upgrading and transformation,which is the process of establishing organizational identity and legitimacy.The diffusion process is influenced by efficiency orientation and social orientation,which makes the types of organizational innovation of industrial colleges different.From a theoretical perspective,the organizational innovation of industrial college is divided into four types: traditional college,technology lag industry college,system lag industry college and completely innovative industry college.Ideally,the organizational of the industrial college is the coordination and unification between the identity of the concept of cooperation,the flexibility of knowledge production and the coupling of governance structure.The logic of organizational formation is the interaction between cooperation needs,cooperation strategies and cooperation environment.From the practical point of view,the industrial college in the organizational innovation practice reflects the obvious institutional lag characteristics.The motivation of the establishment of the Industrial College is mainly the demand of the external environment and the "demand-led" organizational innovation driven by the real problems.In practice,the Industrial College is influenced by institutional inertia,which makes it present the duality of new and old.The fusion characteristic of knowledge production mode is its technical choice.The formation of governance structure shows the game of efficiency and legitimacy.The game process must have the resistance of the old system,which makes the establishment of the new system more difficult.There is obvious institutional lag.However,the institutional lag of industrial colleges is a temporary state,and the influence of its development on the transformation of local colleges and universities is reflected in two possibilities: one is dissolved by the resistance of transformation,which is concentrated in practice as the mode of "emphasizing development and neglecting norms ".The system environment,the main body demand and the strategy choice among the related members in the organization field are different,which leads to the deviation between the organization form and the organization design of the industrial college.On the one hand,the formation of this deviation originates from the mechanism of selective redistribution system and autonomous space in the field of industrial college,on the other hand,it also reveals the fracture caused by the long-standing "institutional distance" in the chain of production and consumption of knowledge.Therefore,if the system construction continues to lag behind the development needs of the industrial college,the resistance of the old system will gradually dissolve the innovation characteristics of the industrial college,and the transformation of knowledge production can not be guaranteed.Thus it converges with the traditional college organization or stops directly.The other is the possibility of industrial colleges to promote the transformation of local colleges and universities.Starting with how to break through the super-stable structure of local colleges and universities,this study holds that industrial colleges and universities have formed a "latent structure" with a new coordination mechanism guided by the concept of market consciousness.The future of the industrial college will continue to develop in the dynamic optimization of knowledge production mode and system construction,which requires it to resolve the paradox faced by the two,including academic freedom,academic and professionalization,de-subject or discipline based on knowledge production,flexibility and institutionalization paradox in organizational structure and system," grounding " and path locking paradox.In the process of solving paradox,local undergraduate colleges and universities will accumulate organizational knowledge and promote transformation.
