Research On The Cultivation Of College Students’Law Awareness In The New Era

Xi Jinping stated in the Report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China: socialism with Chinese characteristics has embraced a new era.Under the new coordinates in the new era,China has witnessed profound changes,new goals have been set for the socialist rule of law path.It is clarified in the Report of the19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that the general objective of comprehensively promoting the rule of law is to build a system of socialist rule of law with the Chinese characteristics and build a socialist country based on the rule of law.The subject foundation of realizing this objective is to cultivate citizens with the rule of law awareness.In cultivation of the rule of law awareness of all the citizens,the importance of rule of law awareness cultivation of college students is particularly prominent.Rule of law awareness cultivation of college students is of direct and profound significance for comprehensively promoting realization of the general objective of rule of law.College students in the new era show unique vitality and vigor.They are receiving education and have high cultural knowledge and moral accomplishment.Laws are the bottom line of morality.The high morality and cultural level lays a solid foundation for cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students.College students in the new era are the fresh force of the construction of the rule of law.Their rule of law awareness level and practice ability not only decide whether they can become the qualified successor of the socialist construction,but also concern the realization of the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In the meanwhile,rule of law belongs to political development and political civilization,it is one constituent of upper-level construction and top-level design.In face of the complex domestic and foreign contexts,economic,political,military,cultural and information close-up,siege,provocation and interference of America and other western countries,hostile forces have input false statements and bad thoughts into China via various channels in various ways,which severely impacts the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era.The psychology of college students is impacted by such bad ideological trends one after another.If we do not strengthen cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era,correctly guide them,safeguard their psychology and get ready to take actions,college students’ rule of law awareness is very likely to be eroded and assimilated by such bad ideological trends,and then college students in the new era deviate from the rail of construction of the socialist rule of law in China,and they might do not have legal knowledge,do not abide by laws even though they have such knowledge,abide by laws but do not have a legal belief,have a legal belief but do not fulfill laws.Various illegal phenomena emerge and still exist after repeated prohibition.This will profoundly impact operation and construction of rule of law in the new era.Therefore,cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era is the top priority of the construction of the rule of law in the new era and the only approach to rule of law and building of a socialist country under the rule of law.It is imperative that the cultivation content of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era is specified and the approach for cultivation practice of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era is explored.Focusing on the subject of " cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era",based on the Marxist theory,taking Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law as the guide,and in combination with the national conditions of the socialism with Chinese characteristics,this thesis puts forward issues,analyzes issues and solves issues,which follows the logic thinking of "what-why-how".This thesis mainly includes six aspects: In the introduction,the background,research significance,domestic and overseas research status quo,research thought,method,key points,difficult points and innovative points of this thesis are overviewed.In Chapter I,rule of law,relevant concepts are analyzed and distinguished,through discussion on the relationship between rule of law in the new era and the rule of law awareness and the formation of the rule of law awareness,college students in the new era are taken as the research object,their characteristics are analyzed,the connotation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era is defined,and theories on the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era are overviewed.In Chapter II,the history and current status of the rule of law awareness of Chinese college students are elaborated.The history of rule of law awareness cultivation of college students in China,experience and enlightenment in the new era are analyzed,by conducting a questionnaire survey and analysis on the questionnaire survey,the current status of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era is elaborated,the achievements are summarized,problems are positioned,and then reasons of problems in cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era are found out.In Chapter III,the objective situation and foreign reference of the cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era are expounded,opportunities are seized,challenges are faced,experience of representative countries in cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era is referred to,and the realistic enlightenment of foreign experience for our cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era is drawn from different perspectives.In Chapter IV,the practice of cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era is discussed,the requirements for cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era are mastered,and the content and method of cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era are specified by taking into consideration the concept and principle of cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era.In Chapter V,the practice approach of cultivation of the rule of law awareness of college students in the new era is expounded based on the above analysis from four perspectives: colleges and universities,society,families and individuals.
