Research On The Reshaping Of Farmers’ Collective Consciousness From The Perspective Of Rural Revitalization

The Currently,the fact that there is an imbalance in urban-rural development and insufficient rural development serves as an important factor hindering the high-quality development of the country which clearly illustrates that the most arduous and onerous task of building socialist modernization remains in rural areas.Since the advent of the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,especially with the transition from the strategic planning phase to the implementation phase of rural revitalization,it has demonstrated the firm determination and mission of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core to thoroughly address the issues concerning agriculture,rural areas,and farmers.Indeed,the key to accomplishing China’s tasks lies in the Party,but promoting rural revitalization also requires mobilizing the initiative,creativity,and productivity of farmers,as they are not only the masters of the countryside but also the mainstay of agricultural production and the driving force behind rural revitalization.Since the establishment of the Communist Party of China,Chinese Communists led by Mao Zedong have utilized Marxism-Leninism to transform the small-scale peasant consciousness ingrained in the minds of hundreds of millions of Chinese farmers.Since then,the peasant class has remained tightly united around the Communist Party of China,becoming the most reliable ally of the Chinese proletariat and an important force in the socialist modernization construction,playing an irreplaceable role in various historical stages of revolution,construction,and reform and opening up.However,with the deepening of the modernization process symbolized by industrialization and urbanization in the process of reform and opening up,issues such as the unidirectional flow of urban-rural production factors and the resulting imbalance in the transfer of resource elements have emerged,severely affecting rural development,and giving rise to the issues concerning agriculture,rural areas,and farmers.Today,if we fail to break free from the old mindset and models of modernization,and fail to change the dualistic structure of urban and rural areas,the trend of rural decline cannot be fundamentally reversed,and the issues concerning agriculture,rural areas,and farmers cannot be thoroughly resolved,making it even more difficult to achieve the expected goals of rural revitalization.Therefore,it is undoubtedly an effective path to solve the issues concerning agriculture,rural areas,and farmers and achieve comprehensive rural revitalization by reorganizing farmers with collectivist thinking,effectively unleashing their subjectivity.This study,guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and based on Marxist dialectical materialism and historical materialism,reviews the development process of collective consciousness among farmers since the establishment of the Communist Party of China and combines it with the practical requirements of comprehensive rural revitalization,fully recognizing the necessity and possibility of reshaping farmers’ collective consciousness in promoting rural revitalization.Subsequently,under the guidance of theoretical and practical logics,it clearly outlines the goal system,basic principles,and expected results of reshaping farmers’ collective consciousness,constructing a practical system from guiding mechanisms,driving mechanisms,practical mechanisms to guarantee mechanisms.At the same time,the study comprehensively summarizes the possible challenges in the process of reshaping farmers’ collective consciousness and reveals the reasons for these challenges,and finally proposes practical and feasible strategies to address them.The aim of the study is to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the reshaping of farmers’ collective consciousness,thereby contributing wisdom and strength to the theoretical and practical innovation and development of promoting rural revitalization.Therefore,the research results presented in this study,based on inheriting and developing previous research,have a certain degree of innovation.For example,from an academic perspective,it adheres to the combination of the basic principles of Marxism with China’s specific realities and the combination with excellent traditional Chinese culture to analyze the historical role of farmers’ collective consciousness and the importance and urgency of its current reshaping;it combines theoretical logic with practical logic,history with reality,to analyze the development process of Chinese farmers’ collective consciousness over the past century and explore the possibility and necessity of its reshaping.From an academic viewpoint,based on the two pairs of basic contradictions of Marxist historical materialism,the study fully demonstrates the relative independence of ideology and its important role in rural revitalization;whether farmers can exert their subjectivity is inevitably related to the smooth implementation of rural revitalization and the thorough resolution of the issues concerning agriculture,rural areas,and farmers;the reshaping of farmers’ collective consciousness well reflects the advanced ideas and superb wisdom of the Communist Party of China in governing the country in the new era.In terms of academic methods,the organic combination of systematic theoretical analysis and theoretical interpretation,the organic combination of history and reality,effectively highlights the modernity of disciplinary characteristics and research methods;the organic combination of dialectical negation and the reshaping of farmers’ collective consciousness fully demonstrates the important role of self-negation dialectics in research.In summary,this study focuses on the theme of reshaping farmers’ collective consciousness from the perspective of rural revitalization,based on the basic principles of Marxism,and emphasizes the practical analysis of reshaping farmers’ collective consciousness under the perspective of rural revitalization,addressing the issue of subjectivity in rural revitalization and expanding the scope and horizon of rural revitalization research.Reshaping farmers’ collective consciousness under the perspective of rural revitalization,as an indispensable and important practical activity to promote the modernization of agriculture and rural areas,not only empowers the construction of a powerful agricultural country but also promotes the construction of a socialist modernized country,and further advances the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
