| To promote "first-class undergraduate education" and improve the quality of education and teaching has become the urgent demand of the society for higher education.The construction of "first-class undergraduate education" is a systematic project,which includes all aspects of undergraduate talent training.Public basic course is a public compulsory course set by all universities in China,which plays a leading and guiding role in the whole undergraduate study and life and future development of college students.Without the foundation of excellent public basic course education,it is difficult to cultivate first-class undergraduate talents,nor can it be called a first-class university.However,the reality is that public basic courses have not received due attention and attention,people’s awareness of the quality of public basic courses is weak,and public basic courses have been on the edge of undergraduate talent training for a long time.Especially in the face of the new changes and development of the education ecology,the development of information technology and the advent of the era of "Internet +" education,the change of students’ growing environment and highlight their personality,teacher,student,or managers did not pay due attention to change its,solid step back still constrained by the traditional teaching mode,the lack of governance perspective,ignore the realistic meaning and value significance of its existence.Therefore,it is an important subject worthy of our study to pay attention to the teaching quality of public basic courses,improve the quality and level of public basic courses and rebuild their value.Under the demands of the era of "quality is king" and "based on",and under the influence of the concept of "student-centered",what is the current status and quality of classroom teaching of these public basic courses? What’s the problem? What’s behind it?How to improve the quality of the curriculum and create "public foundation courses" ? With such a question in mind,this paper designs the research path around the "quality improvement of public basic course classroom teaching" in universities,and takes "quality improvement" as the goal and "classroom teaching reform" as the breakthrough point as the main line of the research throughout.This paper firstly discusses the factors that influence the teaching quality of public basic course in university.Clear the features of college courses and college classroom teaching,discusses the influencing factors of the main classification of classroom teaching quality,and on this basis to determine the study of "university public basic course main influence factors of classroom teaching quality",the whole research is always around the main four dimensional "teacher factor,student factor,management factor,cultural ecological factors" as internal logic,whether the comb or the cause of the problem analysis,and design in the path of ascension,all pinpoint,thus become the internal analysis framework through the full text.In the specific research process,questionnaires were conducted on some students and teachers of public basic courses in nine "double first-class" universities in Zhejiang,Jiangsu,Shanghai,Hubei,Jiangxi,Guizhou and Sichuan,etc.Meanwhile,based on the actual situation,some teachers and students were interviewed,as well as some teachers and students were observed in class.Through interview survey data and the observation,on the one hand,shows the positive aspects of the current university public basic course of classroom teaching: identity of public basic course between teachers and students have a certain value,with appropriate appeal,the teachers and students to change the public basic classroom students construction of "double top" university teachers’ professional knowledge ability is recognized,satisfied with the gradual improvement of teaching conditions and basic,are looking forward to establish new relationship between teachers and students.On the other hand,through investigation and analysis,we also found the main problems in the current classroom teaching of public basic courses in universities: teachers’ teaching ideas are conservative,and their attitude towards reform is negative;The teacher’s classroom teaching design is monotonous,the teaching goal is not clear enough;Most of the teaching methods are fixed and the classroom lacks vitality.The teacher’s classroom organization lacks the innovation design,the teaching content is tedious;The relationship between teachers and students is indifferent and communication is limited,especially the classroom interaction is lacking.The management mode of teacher reading materials is relatively loose,and the platform for teacher growth is limited.Students’ learning motivation tends to be eager for quick results and quick benefits,and their learning style is passive and lax.The public classroom teaching environment atmosphere is depressing,the cultural education appears weak and so on.In view of the existing problems in the classroom teaching of university public basic courses,the reasons behind the problems are further analyzed.First,from the perspective of teachers,the teaching concept is obsolete,the behavior is lagging behind,and the active reform is ineffective.Second,from the perspective of students,the lack of guidance for public class learning,weak motivation,and insufficient active learning.Thirdly,from the perspective of management,the system construction of public basic courses is not complete,attention is not enough,and the consciousness of governance is absent.Fourth,from the perspective of cultural ecology,the teaching culture ecology is not good,the attention is not enough,the environment education is weak;At the same time,there are some historical reasons such as the imprison of the thinking of the subject and the drift of the teaching center.Finally,Research ultimately rests on problem solving.Based on the above analysis,this paper designs the path of improving the teaching quality of university public basic courses,and constructs the framework of "1I+5P+4D" improving the teaching quality of public basic courses."1I" : a guiding ideology(Ideology)focuses on the construction of "first-class undergraduate courses",takes the cultivation of "first-class undergraduate talents" as the goal,takes the reform of university public basic courses as the starting point,and comprehensively improves the teaching quality of university public basic courses."5P" : five principles of implementation: the political principle of cultivating people with morality,the value principle of people-oriented,the teaching principle of "ability-based",the governance principle of pluralistic good governance,and the action principle of adhering to the practice orientation."4D" : four major dimensions.That is,the practice of improving the quality of classroom teaching is promoted from the aspects of teachers,students,management and cultural ecology,starting from the four main dimension factors that restrict and influence the classroom teaching of university public basic courses.Public basic courses are an important part of undergraduate education.The quality of classroom teaching is related to the cultivation of the comprehensive ability of first-class undergraduate talents and the achievement of the goal of first-class undergraduate education.The construction of first-class undergraduate education and the cultivation of first-class undergraduate talents are the important support to realize the dream of a strong country.In the face of the social change in the information age,the external thrust of the national mission and the internal drive of the development of public basic courses,it is inevitable for The Times to improve the quality of the classroom-based reform.Based on such background and perspective,this study focuses on the weak classroom teaching of public basic courses and the research on the improvement of quality,which is of great significance for The Times,reality and practice. |
