In the process of urbanization and industrialization, the group of migrant workers is increasingly become the important part among the different strata. They are not only the condition of economic development, but also the product of historical development. These migrant workers of 1st generation had began to enter the cities since the late 1980 s and the early 1990 s.Hence, the city integration of migrant workers has gradually become the agenda of widespread concern by the society and the academic circle. These migrant workers of 1st generation have started to exit the historical stage of economic development, and those of new generation have turned into the main force of Chinese economy instead of the former. However, that of different generations are quite different in the occupational shift. These former studies had analyzed respectively their characters of both, and investigated some problems they faced in the process of city integration by the intergenerational contrast of both. After considering the migrant workers of new generation,it is revealed that they are both homogeneous and diverse. The kind of internal differentiation is in consequence of their different experience of growing-up and education. So,in this paper, the migrant workers of new generation will be typified and classified into three groups. They are respectively these migrant workers who were accompanying childern, who were leftover children, and who were rural children.Three groups of migrant workers above have the same body, but their background and environment of growing-up make the different influence on their urban-integration.This kind of impact arises largely from the symbiosis---not from the causality---between the urbanization and the growth of migrant workers of new generation. Therefore, based on the sociological theory of body, from the perspective of embodiment of body, this paper will contrast and analyze the growing-up experience and urban-integration among three groups of migrant workers above, and attempts to seek for the causes of the homogeneity and diversity among them, and especially the impact of intergenerational transmission of education on their embodiment of body. This paper adopts the qualitative method, and acquires 77 deep interviewee from the M District in the city of Shanghai;of these there are 13 interviewee who were accompanying children,15 who were leftover children, and 49 who are migrant workers. These sources is mainly growing-up experience and living narrative of individual, and systematically displays the knowledge their bodies get from the external environment of growing-up.The occupational shift of their parents makes them enter unconsciously the arrangement of institutions. And the education and urban life their bodies receive and experience in the process of growing shapes together the residence-identity which can adapt the urban life. Finally, the core topic of that of new generation is that they utilize their accumulating capital of body in their process of growing, and actively construct their bodies to adapt the urban life by the system of social security. The results show that:(1)the objective body of the new generation of migrant workers is gradually formed in the process of growing-up.The way of family upbringing mainly reflects the characteristics of "emphasis on raising, light on education"."Heavy raising" mainly means that parents pay more attention to the care of their children’s physical growth, while "light education" means that parents,as the primary executor of social and cultural transmission, cannot transmit or teach their children in social norms, social culture and values. The intergenerational transmission of family education in the growing process of the new generation of migrant workers."Management" and "no management" are respectively reflected in the growth of the body maintenance and cultural education support.(2)Bodily embodiment or sensory body or subjective body is really experience. In the process of urban integration, the body feeling of the new generation of migrant workers in the city is mainly affected by the family structure. In the process of urban integration, the body feeling of the new generation of migrant workers in the city is mainly affected by the family structure. They are not subject to too many economic constraints in the process of working in the city. They do not bear excessive family economic burden, and they are relatively free in both life and career choice. The reason is that their parents can help them in life and economy in Shanghai.Again, this is very similar to the migrant children’s work life, and this kind of support is also reflected in the new generation of migrant workers with the experience of left-behind children. The new rural youth enter the city to work, they not only involve the rural body to adapt to the city living body, but also realize the transformation of professional body. When they enter the city to work for the first time, they must first ensure that their bodies in the city life of the most basic food and clothing limit. How to seek a job and get a salary is the first step for them to enter the city to guarantee the most basic physical needs.(3)The planning of the body is an important component of the body after the body is embodied in the process of physicalization and practical feeling. The impact of low education on the new generation of migrant workers does not bring limitations in physical work experience, professional skills and social experience.Nor does the increase in mobility change the institutional constraints, employment options, social experience and living environment they face in urban life.Maintaining the status quo is the best choice for them to plan their bodies at the present stage. However, the planning strategy of the new generation of migrant workers in the process of urban integration is affected by their children’s education, and obtaining educational opportunities for their children has become the goal and standard of the new generation of migrant workers in physical planning.
