The research of applying physical-chemical method to treat theeffluent of biological treatment of landfill leachate is introduced in thispaper. The concentration of CODcr,BOD5 and ammonia-nitrogen of theeffluent of biological treatment are 1150-2864mg/L,300-1000mg/L,400-700mg/L. Because the quality of the effluent can't meet the standard ,we choose the coagulation method , absorption of activated carbonmethod ,Fenton reagent method and coagulation-activated carbon-Fentonreagent processes to treat the effluent of the biological treatment todecrease the CODcr of the wastewater and increase the removal efficiencyof CODcr.From the orthogonal test , the CODcr can be decreased to 740.60 mg/Lby the coagulation-deposition of the polymer ferric sulfate ; the CODcr canbe decreased to 512.33 mg/L by the absorption of the particle activatedcarbon; the CODcr can be decreased to 203.33 mg/L by the Fenton reagent ;the CODcr of the integrated process can be decreased to 58.07 mg/L. Wecan conclude that the Fenton reagent and the integrated processes havehigh CODcr removal efficiency for the refractory pollutant. The main factors on the experiments were investigated to get the bestconditions. such as temperature ,reagent dose and pH in the coagulationprecipitation treatment ; reagent dose ,pH and time of adsorption of theactivated carbon adsorption process; the reagent dose of FeSO4 H2O and .H2O2,the temperature and pH in the Fenton reagent . This study providedtheory basis and design guide for engineering practice to treat the landfillby physical-chemical process.
