The natural plant medicinal materials have been favored all over the worldwith the population of "back into nature". More and more people are increasinglyhaving a greater demand for the herbsThe extraction and separation process of active integrations played animportant role in the whole process of producing Chinese Traditional Medicines. Therefore, it is meaningful that studying and optimizing the extraction process, which can realize the modernization of the Chinese traditional medicine.Yet, the present extraction methods have some inevitable disadvantages. Forexample, it can extract less volume active integrations with much time, which notonly wastes the herbs resources but also makes the quality of the herbs less stable. These problems hindered the globalization of Chinese Traditional Medicines. These years, some new technologies, which is practical and efficient, such asultrasonic technology, Microwave Assisted Extraction and SFE, are being graduallyadopted for extraction. Experiments show that these methods need less extractiontime but heighten the yield of active integrations than before. Form this ,we can seethat new technologies have a broad application prospect. In this paper, we invent a whole new technology, which is called high pressureextracting technology (HPET). Using HPET for the first time, we aim to explorethe optimization extraction process for active integrations in herbs. Meanwhile, thiswill provide the academic foundation for industrialization of Chinese TraditionalMedicines. In the experiments, three different extraction methods were adopted to extracttotal flavonoids. in leaves of Acanthopanax senticosus harms. The optimumextraction condition was obtained respectively with uniform design and orthogonaldesign. In the end ,the compartion of three method are discussed. The maincomponent and inclusion are as following:(1)The optimum parameters of the HPET could be described as following:normal temperature, 40% alcohol, pressure 485MPa and holding pressure time5min, 1:50 as the proportion of raw material to solvent. As a result, the extractionyield of total flavonoids was 7.71%.(2)The optimum parameters of the heat-reflux could be described as following:70℃, 40% alcohol, 1:45 as the proportion of raw material to solvent, extraction for2 times and 1h for each time. As a result , the extraction yield of total flavonoidswas 5.98%.
